  1. It just started by itself - on of the kids came in with it this morning to show me - but I have seen the paper clip trick to get it on for a moment if thats what you mean. They cant have much of a battery in - it faded and went off after a couple of hours....but hey it put a smile on my face :-)
  2. hi - and to bring in the new year, out of nowhere, my wrist band has started working again :-)
  3. I did and liked it...I have a love / hate relationship with Ricky Gervais - he is a genius but I don't like some of his material which is so say ironic on touchie subjects. For me this was Ricky Gervais playing out his own dream...David Brent. But hey its all subjective and if you loved it fair play...it just didnt work for me.
  4. Well I thought it was the perfect gig and put me right in the xmas mood - everything was spot on. They ran it perfectly - no big gaps between things - great line up, great vibe...perfect. I have to say the only thing I wasnt that bothered about was David Brent but minor detail. The crowd reaction to Robbie Williams - whatever you think of him, when he walked on the place went mad...and I mean mad. Coldplay absolutely delivered - everyone was jumping and they just look like they are enjoying it as much as everyone else which is lovely to see. Wicked!!
  5. well its a lovely morning....but bl00dy freezing so good luck to them
  6. Agreed...but I live in London and none of my mates were even aware the gig was going on until I mentioned it. Maybe they overpriced it what with it being so near to xmas?
  7. what you need to do if talk to someone who has 2 stalls tickets once you are inside - they can then both go in....one comes out with the two tickets and they take you in :-)
  8. ha weird. This must be a new approach - I have to say I like as my friends managed to get 2 tickets last week after missing out the first time round. and it would stop people paying over the odds on the secondary market if they knew more were coming on sale
  9. I was going to say not many but i just looked and they are sold out again so people obviously did in the end :-)
  10. makes sense as you can still buy the things at Eventin
  11. I just got an email to say mine are now on their way so i guess you will once its been dispatched. Tickets are back on sale again at eventin
  12. Hi - first post and tbh I was a fan a few years ago (saw them at the forum and the Royal Albert Hall in 2002 I think it was) but kids have been the focus the last few years so not been following much music wise expect bob the builder :-) But I couldn't resist this and I have to say is was easy to get tickets - surprisingly so. I kept waiting for something to go wrong but it was smooth as. So can you get downstairs... As long as you know two people who have downstairs tickets - you all go in the main entrance into the foyer and then ferry people in the downstairs bit using the two tickets - two go in, one come out with the two tickets and take the next one in etc etc. Not that I have done that in the past :-) I like the venue and have seen some cool bands there - Prince, Oasis, Nick Cave..Liberty X (dont ask) to name a few. Always had a good night and I am buzzing as this will defo be special. I had tickets to Radiohead there as well but my mate was a massive fan so I gave him the tickets (for no cash - I must have been mad) - bit gutted now tbh as I've still not seen them...things you do for mates. Take it easy and see you there
