There was only one episode that really disturbed me, and it involved a kidnapping for ransom of a girl who was 12 or 13 or so I think. Benson and Stabler are helping to negotiate with the parents and something happens when they are on the phone with the kidnapper. So the guy starts raping the daughter while on the phone (prettty sure) while the parents are listening. It even showed some of it, though no nudity, it was pretty graphic. And over the course of the episode he raped her a few more times until she was released.

 

It was pretty brutal and I guess you have to see it to really know what I am talking about.

 

Thing is, I have watched every season of SVU in repeats now - nearly 2 and 1/2 times so far - and this is the only episode that they never, ever show.

 

It's like that episode of the Simpsons with the World trade towers, or the Seinfeld episode with the pee-stained couch. They never air it.

 

It sucks also because even though I felt disgusted by that episode, I would like to see it again because I have seen every other one so many times. Well who knows, maybe they will lift their ban on it at some point.

YAY!! I just discovered that they show SVU everynight at 7pm on USA!!! :lol: yessssssssssssss!! I can't believe it.. and on Saturdays... 3 full episodes.... this is ace.. I can't wait for tonights episode on NBC! :wink3:

no..... the ADA lady came back (from the dead so to speak) and there was this crazy killer... he was Irish... I loved his accent.... and this really cute Hispanic cop was on... :wink3:

i know which one you mean... that was a good one. and the little boy was so cute :) . i liked it when she was the ADA, but diane neal is good too, just took a litle getting used to. :/

tonight is the back to back to back episodes on USA!! I need to go get situated for this!! :D

I prefer the newer ADA over the blonde one anytime. I mean she was alright, but just all in your face and high on herself. I think Diane Neal does a really good job, though I wish they would bring a guy back at some point.

 

In the entire history of L&O and all it's shows there has only ever been one male ADA, and that was only during the first few years of L&O: TOS.

 

I also wish they would make a with change McCoy. He's good, but a new face would be nice.

 

I am getting a little tired of the stereotyping with the whole DA system on all the L&O's where you have a male lead for the ADA and a female for the assistant ADA. It's time for something new I say. :santa3:

did anyone see this past Tuesday's episode??? I fell asleep and missed about 1/2 of the show.. and it was a good one too!

I love watching SVU (Although, I sometimes call it SUV :blush: ). Back when I had cable, I always used to watch it on USA. I always foget that it's on on Tues at 10, plus, I get really bad reception on NBC and don't feel like moving the antenna.

LOL We used to do that with our older TVs. Now, I just turn it off for a couple of seconds ans turn it back on. We definitely need to upgrade to plasma.

 

I saw SVU last night on NBC. Is it my TV or do they film the show at a low volume? Each time I changed the channel during commericals, I had to turn the volume low; I had the volume high so I could hear it normally. It's probably my ears.

It must all the sun that we get that are messing with the soundwaves. I loved waching the marathons back when I had cable! I can honestly say that SVU is the best of the L&O series.

For some strange reason, I like the episodes with pedophiles. I don't wish it on anyone, but those episodes are every interesting.

last night I saw one that resembled a real life manhunt we have here in NYC.. a guy stalked this girl.... and had cameras inside her apartment... then raped her, on video.
