Just heard Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap for the first time today, absolutely beautiful and eerie song. Apparently its been out for awhile so I was wondering if anyone knows the type of vocoder or even the settings she uses on her vocal track.

 

The vocoder synths I've found online are fairly pricey and I've only found a single ProTools plug in. Any thoughts from people who are familiar with the song or who know anything about vocoders?

I'm not familiar and have no idea whatsoever about synths, but I'd like to comment on your amazing discovery! Imogen is brilliant! I recommend you have listen to some of her older stuff from the album I Megaphone. :)
