Live: Video of bald eagles hatching goes viral

A LIVE stream of a bald eagle nesting, caring for her two eaglets and one unhatched egg has become a viral hit online.

The LIVE stream from Decorah, Iowa, has attracted more than 11 million viewers from over 130 countries since it first went live on Friday.

The bald eagle was caring for three eggs and the first egg hatched on Friday. The second hatched on Sunday. The third chick is expected to hatch at some point this week.

Next to hatching, feeding time seems to be a fan favorite as the eagle couple has returned to the nest with fish and rabbits for their brood.

The camera was set up by Raptor Resource Project a non-profit educational and advocacy project that works toward the preservation of falcons, eagles, ospreys, hawks, and owls.

The stream is LIVE at all hours through the night, and you can watch it in the video player below.
