Here is the topic for those that wants to recreate Coldplay synths sounds. Here i will discuss and share patches with interested members. Recently i recreated Some of X&Y pads using Arturia's CS 80V4 and the Clocks pad.

So I recorded this instrumental cover of Trouble in Town two years ago, but unfortunately never got to finish it. I never recorded the bass line or the drum track. I recorded this cover using Pro Tools, all the synth lines recorded using Omnisphere. The strings come from Cinematic strings. Guitar effects come from Guitar Rig, and the piano was recorded using some Kawai EX Pro tweaked samples. Please let me know what you think of it! Trouble in town drum correct.mp3

I've been doing some research and we might be able to recreate the sound by copying the settings on the CS-80 Coldplay used. Of course all the help is essencial for this task. (first thread here) anyways, i am looking for backing track/stems for the ahfod version of fix you to use in a live band scenario. i've tried doing it myself but no avail (getting the arpeggiator to sync and sound right is the kicker). all i'm really looking for is the arp from midnight (on a loop just like in the live version) and the strings as well. any help is greatly appreciated over here!!! I have been experimenting with a new reference pitch other than A=440Hz based on something I read in sound on sound. Evidently, A4=424Hz (approximately 64 cents flat) is the pitch that the great composers like Mozart used and also is related to the golden ratio, Pi, and other frequencies and numbers that occur repeatedly in nature and math.
