westergs3
Hi! I'm looking for a book to read but I prefer known authors. Can you help me guys? :D Preferably a book that has a sequel :wink3:
suzanafg
If you allow me a question, why do you prefer known authors? As for your question, have you read His Dark Materials (it's a trilogy), by Philip Pullman? You could call it a 'fantasy book', but the feature I found most interesting is its view on religion. His Dark Materials is my favourite book trilogy - it has some very interesting concepts... I also highly recommend The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. :)
TraceOddity
I don't think an author or a band need to be known to be presumed good or talented. Coldplay were unknown 15 years ago. ;-) I think sometimes it's good to take a chance on something new. Having said that, most of my favorite authors are well known, lol. Have you ever read Stephen King?
