Coldplay refused to speak to one another before they began work on their new album - because they'd fallen out with each other, ContactMusic are claiming this morning. Frontman Chris Martin admits he and his bandmates were at a stalemate when they started to work on Viva La Vida or Death and all his Friends in 2006. Coldplay will perform the new single 'Violet Hill' at the MTV Movie Awards on June 1st. The MTV Movie Awards will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Angelina Jolie and Zac Efron are among the stars up for the coveted golden popcorn trophies – while the comedy Superbad leads in total nominations, five. Juno follows with four.
