Coldplay won Best International Group at the Nordic Awards yesterday (29th Oct).   They attended and performed at the ceremony held at The Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Coldplay have been named the Best British Live Act at the BRIT Awards 2013 in London last night. They won the award ahead of the likes of The Rolling Stones, Muse and Mumford & Sons following their huge sold out Mylo Xyloto tour last year. In a recorded video message Williams saluted his fans and looked forward to this summer's football World Cup which Germany will host. Coldplay paid tribute to Kylie Minogue at the 'most important gig of their lives', headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2005.   The band kicked off their encore with a cover of the star’s 2001 Number One hit ’Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’. COLDPLAY’s new album ’X&Y’ has leaked ahead of its June 6 release.   The band’s latest LP appeared on file-sharing sites yesterday (May 30), meaning that it is now freely available to download from the internet.   A band insider told NME.COM: “It’s a miracle it hasn’t leaked before now to be honest. It’s released in Japan before Europe and they’ve played the album on their official website coldplay.com. Most major albums leak a long time before release, this is just a few days.”   The band’s

Coldplay fans have succeeded in cracking the code featured on the bands new cover art. Well done Owen!   The band astounded fans last week when they launched the artwork for the eagerly awaited new album 'X&Y', featuring a series of cryptic colour-coded blocks. Now it has been discovered that the actual blocks are graphical representations loosely based on a binary code known as 'Baudot', which generates a base5 binary representations for each letter or character in the western alphabet.  

A song called Want has been long-awaited by Coldplay fans since March, when Chris Martin claimed it was some of his best writing to date. But Coldplay won't be performing it.
