Zach Braff on Chris Martin
Following the release of the new song, Wish I Was Here from Zach Braff's Soundtrack, by Cat Power and Coldplay, director Zach Braff has released an exclusive commentary for every track appearing on his new film, Wish I Was Here . Zach mentions that the title track is his favourite on the entire tracklist and on the subject of Coldplay's involvement on the soundtrack, he talks about making a decision with Chris to choose female vocals on the song, to compliment the style of the film. He also reveals his thoughts on Chris Martin, to which we all agree, "one of the nicest people you will ever meet, just so cool, humble and just a kind human being". As some of you may remember, Fix You was dedicated to a fan, during the 2nd July Royal Albert Hall gig. The fan in question is Jody Duff, who is affected by Motor Neurone Disease. (you can find more details about MND and the effects here) Jody has set up a Just Giving page to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Coldplay showed their wonderful kindness once more as they donated £10,000 to the cause!
