yeah i get what you're saying. the only thing is, i don't think you can make a fair comparison without knowing their stuff, you know what i mean? and knowing their four albums. i listen to both extensively, studio and live of muse, and studio and live of rh. and knowing both as well as i do, i can't see the comparisons. after listening to 2 or 3 random songs, yes maybe you can see a comparison, i don't know. but yeah. lol.

the only thing i don't get nik, is that you are infamous for not liking muse, everyone here knows that you don't like them, never have, and never will. so why did you bother revieving their new album, which was obviously going to be a negative review and that would rile up some people, if you were going to write a negative review from the word go? you know what i mean? that's like me going and writing a.... greenday review or something. it would be biased and negative from the word go because i don't like them. you see what i mean?

hahaha that's exactly what i said valerieee but seeing people rate it 3.8 out of 10 and giving it a complete bashing, i had to download it and have my own piece of mind that the album is the best fucking thing i have heard in my life. :nice: and damn straight, they did not let me down, even 0.00000000000001%. yep, muse are still rocking as fucking hard as ever, and looking as fucking beautiful as ever. oh kill me, they are fucking spectacular. :heart:

hmm okay. if there is anything, then yes the ONLY similarity i can draw is that there is a little similarity between the voices, but still hardly any. hmmm. the guitar is sooooooooooo unbelievably different, and the bass is so effing different it's crazy, and the drumming, gosh you can't even compare dom's drumming to phil of rh. they are entirely, ridiculously different. the whole thing. it's different. and matt is a predominant pianist in alot of the songs, muse have ALOT of piano in there songs. as in crazy amounts. it's just. differrrreeennnntttttt. i hate comparisons between the twooo. they are so different it's crazy.

(3rd album) muse; time is running out (3rd album)

but you know i'm still going to swing muse's way, and you're still going to swing radiohead's way. it's inevitable. we already have preconceived biases and neither of us can be partial when judging these two against the other. ;)
