Yes, I've been signed up for In My Place probably close to 2 years ago. I was just wondering if I'm missing emails. I have gotten a few though thats all.

..are getting the In My Place emails about presale for all of the shows? I'm not sure how they do it, do they send out and email to EVERYONE for every show individually? I just noticed that the presale is open for another show (its in Europe) and I haven't got an email for it. What if I wanted to go to Europe to see them? lol

There's so much going on everyday in here and out in the news about the band, its really an exciting time to be a Coldplay fan. Just thought I'd share :rolleyes:

This song is fast growing on me as one of my favorites of the new stuff I've heard. I've had the chance to really listen to them on the iPod and I reall really like the melody, lyrics, rhythm (sp? lol), and such of the song. Very good, just sounds great and flows together wonderfully. Well, this is based on nothing but my opinion lol, but I think a perfmorance video is what would work well. Something so everyone can see them again, kind of like what they did with In My Place. Not only that but I think Speed of Sound would do very well as a performance video. Maybe something with lights and flying stars in space or some cool effects like that would be nice!

2 years ago I spent $35. $75 would be well worth it as well haha, I'd pay a hundred. What are the seats like? Is it first-come-first-served for upfront/same price?

I think thats why a lot of people love Coldplay and what's special about their music :)

I think the opposite actually. I think it will make a great first single, something that a lot of people will like. What If should not be the first single, a song like that, X&Y's The Scientist, needs to be maybe 3rd out or something like that. Its the album's gem and shouldn't be thrown out there right off the bat.

For those of you that have ordered tickets through the In My Place Presale system, how much have they been? (Dollars if possible lol) How good are the seats? Just trying to plan ahead for when something's available around here. Thanks

Yeah, I'm sure it won't be too long until they can be found out there, but I figured I'd do my part to help out a bit.

So far, I have not found any of the new stuff on Ares, although I don't know if its really out there on Kazaa or anything else yet. Anyhow, for those of us who have any of the new stuff (including me), lets make a pledge to not put those files up for "adoption" on any P2P servers. Lets do the band a favor and keep these songs between us, the true fans who are going to buy the album/singles anyway and just want to have something new to listen to because we've been waiting for 2 years now lol. I can see how its somewhat "noble" to send out the new stuff on sharing sites, but I don't think its right. Its way too easy for anyone that isn't "one of us", someone who will never go out and buy the stuff, to rip off Coldplay's newest material. And i know the argument: If those people can download them maybe they will become true fans who will go on out and buy the stuff anyway also. However, this group if far outnumbered by the others.

I think this album is really going be huge. After listening to the new songs that were at KCRW (kevvvy is awesome for converting the FLAC files) I really think its going to win a lot of people that didn't necessarily like them before (weirdos lol). Its still cedrtainly our Coldplay, but its different and refreshing. I can't wait to here this new live stuff as studio version.

Haha, they'd probably have a better chance of coming to Philly than Pittsburgh, so I might see ya there! -then again, Pittsburgh's little claim to Coldplay fame was that they were here on Chris' birthday 2 years ago and they sang Solid Ground for the first and only time :cool:

Well, on top on the KCRW show that I got (thank you kevvvy), I think I'll probably end up downloading atleast one more full concert. There's just so much that I don't want to miss out on until June, or even when they might make it anywhere close to Pittsburgh. What about everyone else?

I like the new/extra oooo's and aaaahh's at the end of The Scientist too...plus the backwards bit is really cool!
