Epic review Mimixxx, very thorough! :D I felt sorry for Xabi Alonso, people should've left the poor bloke alone, loads went up and asked for photos and stuff, it was a bit cringeworthy. Him and his partner got escorted away at the end, probably to take them out the back away and avoid the crazy fans! (I'm a LFC fan myself, but don't think its right to hassle like that, I've seen him in Starbucks before and left him alone!) I'd keep checking. I got 2 in Block 1 a few days ago when I happened to be randomly checking. They were despatched the same day too! I bought Oasis tix from the arena itself, 2 weeks before the gig there was no sign so I just went and picked them up! They're cutting it a bit fine with these though!

Just managed to get 2 tickets for this in Block 1 off See :o Wasn't gonna go (despise all seating and am poor) but couldn't really say no to such good seats. And I'd rather see them somewhere smaller than LCCC next year :)

Just remembered I took a a couple of vids during the soundcheck, should I put them up on Youtube? I got a bit of Lovers in Japan, 42 and Yellow. Annoyed that I accidentally had the camera on the low setting, so quality ain't the best!

I know it must be you cos I remember your mate going to the loo and VIVA on your hands!!! :laugh3: I just watched the gig on iPlayer, you can see me and my bf a a couple times from a distance, and the back of our heads during Yellow, so I reckon you'll be on there somewhere! ;) OOOOHHH You used my photos!!!! :D That's so cool! Did you mean me, cos I'd just posted a load?! It's a Sony DSC-H10, a rather large point and shoot, but I'm loving it! 1st time I used it :D Yeah I was lazy and posted the same thing twice! I was stood next to you!!!!

Coldplay were rather ace last night I have to say. Got in the queue about 2pm, met some nice lads, 2 Steves' from Brum and a guy from Chicago and mate, completely forgotten their names! Got to watch the soundcheck which was cool, Chris kept saying they felt under pressure with so many watching :D They did a new edit of Clocks, the piano was a bit different, not sure if they did it in the actual gig. Got a wave off Jimmy Carr too as he walked past :LOL: Got inside just after 5pm and went straight for the right side as we'd seen them go over to the little stage on that side in the soundcheck. Got on the barrier at the far side (and small stage) too which is always nice. Really enjoyed the gig, yeah it could have been longer, but it was free so can't complain! Thought Chris's voice wasn't too bad apart from a couple of times, thought they all seemed quite up for it. Yellow on the 2nd stage was amazing, I was literally right in front of them on the barrier, they were in touching distance! It felt like they were playing just to us at the front, we didn't need the speakers to hear them, could hear them just fine as they were so close! Really don't see how it can be 9pm... We know it has to start at 7pm cos of BBC2, they're almost certainly not going to play for 2 hours, unless its something like they'll stop at 7.45pm then come back half an hour later to do a bit more, but that makes no sense! Can't think of anything else! I have a train to catch at 9.10pm, so the absolute latest tube we can get is 8.40, but that would still be cutting it fine! I'm expecting them to do just 45mins, but would def be more than happy with anything more, last night's 1h 10 would be just fine! :D

I posted this a couple pages back: I saw those Beyonce photos and emailed a flickr member who took some, and actually works for the BBC, he says they're really strict - basically no unauthorised photography at all on site. He took some pretty amazing photos from outside the fence! Must have a nice DSLR. But he said thay they wouldn't take a compact off you or anything, but be prepared to be told off. I'm gonna take my camera but will understand if they tell me to stop. Hope that's right and that everyone with a ticket gets in! I suppose if worse comes to worse, there might be a decent view from the fence! :laugh3:

You may as well! From looking at photos of Beyonce's gig there on flickr, there were quite a few watching at the fence, getting a decent view too! And you'll be able to take photos, whereas us lot inside probably won't be allowed :( Good job its being shown on TV!

Didn't win any other tickets, just find it odd that I entered me before the bf! Shouldn't complain, at least we got some :) Also, apparently it finishes at 9?
