  1. I have a presale code that I havent used - anyone need one? is there another forum to post it or PM me? @sparky - can i send it to you, as most folks ping you about this stuff. Got tickets for daughters to see the show! Was a nightmare tho - Safari locks up on the site (dont know if its been mentioned before, but stick to Firefox).
  2. Thanks Sparky. Glad you are going. The tweets say a lot. I wish I had screenshot the 10K tickets, that is bound to get some press/band response (i hope). What I always thought would be the best idea was just to get the fans into a ballot for tickets instead of this website free for all business - some bands have done this, and shows - there must be some web services geared up to handle it - e.g. a ticket lottery for this kind of show. If not, then I am going to build an app for it immediately ( I work in I.T.!). Other BBC shows have come up with a lottery process - not sure why this one needed Sh*ttickWeb to handle the sales. THe concerts next year - well, Glasto is a rumor - but again, Ive tried 4 yrs in a row and never got a ticket (sold out in 25mins last time I think). Big stadium gigs seem to be not the style of the band (e.g. if they do them, Im not sure its what they were really keen to do). I am happy to watch online - BBCR1's show - as AMac is cool anyways - as long as its DD5.1. ;-D Everyone who got tickets - Hope you enjoy the night and well done! What a great way to start the christmas season - enjoy!
  3. Sparky - I for one wouldnt mind knowing what setup you had to acheive the impossible - android phone? apple? polling app? I had 4+ devices going, us all polling madly on different connections from 7.40 onwards and got nada - same as others here, in the basket, but cannot buy em. So just a mean taunt. A heads up to keep in mind for the next time appreciated Sparks. So again Ive tried and failed, same as the albert hall, just bitter disappointment for me and the kids. This band is crazily hard to see! Ive never managed to see them. To me they are like the modern day beatles in the mid sixties - a rare few concerts, then hidden away, never to be seen live unless you are in the right place at the right time. The irony here is that I used to work with one of the band members brothers back when they were starting out! They were good then, better now. ON the plus side, I am very glad to see at least a few fans on the forum got tickets (maybe a lot of them hopefully). That is REALLY COOL. What was uncool was to see Viagogo post 10K for 1 ticket within 2 minutes of them being on sale......!
