  1. Clocks lip-sync?!?! I'm totally done. Most of time I feel like it wasn't that bad not being able to get the tickets for their show bc it was sold out. The pain of spending hours on the queue to get no tickets at all is slowly turning to a relief... I'm afraid I would never like the old songs anymore if I heard them live in that way.
  2. I don't know if it was discussed or said already (couldn't read more than the first 5 pages on mobile app) but my opinion about the direction the band's sound has taken is that maybe it's not just Chris's emotional state, but maybe the band relationship as well. More than 18 years being together may have tired, worn their relationship, their sync, their will of playing music together out. Maybe this new soulless but independent sound is what made it comfortable for each one of them to keep playing together as a band. Maybe if they took a break until they started missing sharing their energy with one another...
  3. Wow wow wooow I kind of just found this thread and I love everything about it. It's not like an homogeneous pack of nostalgic and purist thoughts, but there actually is a variety of ideas and opinions here, freely expressed without constant judgement over being "puritanical", "fake-fan for not liking everything Coldplay does". This thread is perfect and it feels like sweet home to me.
