  1. Hi Tommy, thanks for the offer, but I'm still holding out to get a ticket in Philadelphia at some point. I'll keep you in mind though if my situation does not change and also especially if the 17th at Metlife were to completely sellout.
  2. I'm surprised with how weak sales seem to be in the newly on sale arena shows in the United States. Indianapolis St. Louis Louisville Columbus Buffalo Auburn Hills Pittsburgh Glendale Tulsa Denver Salt Lake City Las Vegas The only one that looks like it sold really well is Glendale Arizona. I was not able to check Denver, Salt Lake, and Vegas though. But when your selling out stadium shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Dallas, you should not be struggling to sellout a stand alone arena show in Pittsburgh, Columbus, or St. Louis. To a certain degree Indianapolis, Louisville and Buffalo are not really stadium markets, but a stand alone arena show should sell quickly. For Pittsburgh, Columbus, and St. Louis there is simply no excuse. I'd expect a stadium show to be a slow or weak seller, but not an arena show.
  3. I'm interested in tickets for Philadelphia. In particular I would love to get a "hard ticket", none of this E-mailed stuff. I don't really have a specific type of seat I want in the stadium, I would just like to get in. The Box office is currently soldout. I think they could add a second Philadelphia date, but I don't know if they will. The following is my Coldplay concert history: I saw them: June 2, 2001 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia PA, a 2,800 person capacity venue on the Parachutes Tour. September 16, 2002 at the Pier 6 Pavilion in Baltimore MD, a 7,000 person capacity venue on the A Rush Of Blood To The Head Tour. September 30, 2005 at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow VA, Northern Virginia, a 25,000 capacity venue on the Twisted Logic Tour for X&Y album. October 31, 2008 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. , a 20,000 capacity venue on the Viva La Vida Tour. May 24, 2009 at Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey PA, a 16,000 to 30,000+ capacity venue on the Viva La Vida Tour. July 9, 2012 at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. , a 20,000 capacity venue on the Mylo Xyloto Tour. For the A Head Full Of Dreams Tour, I would really like to see them in a Stadium. I did see them at Hershey Park Stadium, but that is a very small stadium, only 16,000 bleacher seats for football games and not like a real NFL football stadium with 60,000 to 70,000 actual seats. I'd be interested in seeing them in the New York Area, Philadelphia area, Washington D.C. area or Miami area. But Philadelphia would be the preferred location I think as it would be cool to see them at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, a 70,000 capacity venue, considering I saw them 15 years earlier in Philadelphia on their first tour at the 2,800 capacity Electric Factory in Philadelphia. A huge contrast there.
  4. There is still a gap from August 6 through August 20 where they could add dates in the Southeast including Florida.
  5. The Southeast may be played in the space from August 6 through August 20. The Northwest could get dates after September 3.
  6. The Carolina's are a tough place to be because they often get skipped. The Washington D.C. area and Atlanta area are more likely to get shows, but a Carolina show may happen. While most of the schedule is now filled in, there is still a two week gap in between Philadelphia on August 6 and the first Rose Bowl show in California on August 20. Those two weeks could be used to travel through the southeast or it could be a scheduled break of some kind for the band.
  7. Promoting a new album is at least a year long project and sometimes 2 years in length.
  8. I think they could add the following dates so we see a schedule like this: July 16, 2016 - East Rutherford NJ July 17, 2016 - East Rutherford NJ July 20, 2016 - Toronto Canada July 21, 2016 - Toronto Canada July 23, 2016 - Chicago IL July 24, 2016 - Chicago IL July 27, 2016 - Montreal Canada July 28, 2016 - Montreal Canada July 30, 2016 - Boston MA July 31, 2016 - Boston MA August 2, 2016 - Hartford CT August 4, 2016 - Pittsburgh PA August 6, 2016 - Philadelphia PA August 7, 2016 - Philadelphia PA August 10, 2016 - Washington D.C. August 11, 2016 - Washington D.C. August 13, 2016 - Atlanta Georgia August 15, 2016 - Miami Florida August 20, 2016 - Pasadena CA August 21, 2016 - Pasadena CA August 23, 2016 - Phoenix AZ August 25, 2016 - Houston TX August 27, 2016 - Arlington TX August 29, 2016 - Denver CO August 31, 2016 - Salt Lake City Utah September 3, 2016 - Santa Clara CA September 6, 2016 - Vancouver Canada Return to North America for second leg of North American tour in 2017. The above schedule for North America 2016 adds 17 shows to the current ten already on sale. This is totally hypothetical and not based on any new information.
  9. I think maybe because they plan to add Canadian dates in the coming weeks.
  10. They will for sure go to Florida as they have on every tour. The only question will be is if they do Stadiums or Arenas there.
  11. I think they could easily add a show in Philadelphia given that the current show has been soldout for weeks. Also, they need to add show or shows for the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area, Pittsburgh and all down the East Coast.
  12. Oh, I understand now. Yes, that is correct. I first heard the song "Don't Panic" while on a bus tour of the Scottish Highlands in early January 2001. I was hooked right away and purchased the Parachutes album when I got home to the U.S. in late January 2001. Then, around May or June 2001, I saw Coldplay's first concert in Philadelphia at the Electric Factory in downtown Philadelphia. The Electric Factory is a concert venue with a max capacity of 2,800. The show soldout and I remember the band playing a few new songs that would later make it on to their "A Rush Of Blood To The Head " album that came out the following year in 2002. A lot of bands start out in much smaller venues when they first come to Philadelphia, so Coldplay were already ahead of the game by selling out the 2,800 seat Electric Factory Venue. Fast Forward to 2016 and they have soldout the 60,000+ seat Lincoln Financial Field Stadium in Philadelphia. I can't even get a ticket. I hope they add another stadium show in Philadelphia or one in Baltimore or Washington D.C. . Miami would also be a place I would consider seeing a Coldplay show since I have family in South Florida.
  13. Thank You. What do you mean by "first day"?
  14. How about THIS SUMMER 2016? Summer 2017 feels like forever away. I'm thinking about their July/August/September schedule in the United States in 2016. So far its only 10 dates. They had better be playing more than just those 10 dates. Release them all at once so people can get down to planning which shows to see.
  15. I am curious if anyone has information on more Coldplay shows in North America than the first 10 that have already gone on sale. If anyone knows anything, even if its just a rumour, post it here.
  16. Hi everyone, this my first time on a Coldplay Fan Forum. I have seen every tour that Coldplay has done from the first tour in 2001 up to their last full tour in the United States in 2012. A total of 6 times now with the shows in the Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia areas primarily. Anyone know if more shows will be scheduled for this tour in the D.C./Baltimore and Philadelphia areas? So far there is just one in Philadelphia.
