  1. What a magical night it was! This was the second time I went to Coldplay, the first time was in the Amsterdam ArenA where I had a seat on the side, on the second to last row. This time I bought tickets for the floor and I wanted to be early so that I had a good spot. It worked! I used public transport to travel from Zoetermeer (close to The Hague) to Brussels with a friend. When we were waiting for the international train in Rotterdam, a random woman approached us and said she was heading to Coldplay too (me and my friend were wearing our Coldplay-shirts). We had a great conversation waiting for the train and in the train, it's funny how Coldplay connects people. After we arrived at the stadium, when we were walking towards the entrance, a interviewer from the Belgian Radio 2 noticed our Dutch accents and asked if he could interview us, asking questions about the terrorist attack on Tuesday. After the interview we walked to the entrance, through the security checks and entered the queue at around 15:30. It was very warm and sweaty and when they finally opened the doors at five o'clock, we were able to get spots at 5 metres from the catwalk. 5 metres! That's an enormous upgrade compared to second to last row. The concert itself was amazing. We sang everything and at the end I almost had no voice left. It really was one of the best moments of my life, to see them this close. The only downside is that Chris was regularly speaking French, which I could not understand (never learned French), I won't blame him, Belgium is 50% French after all. :p Btw, I read somewhere that they had more camera's than usual. Does anyone know if they were filming for the Live 2017 movie? I hope so... :D
  2. I want to try to get tickets for this show. I'm Dutch and I'm sad they don't come to The Netherlands again, so I will try to go Brussels. However, when I look at the payment methods on the Belgian site of Ticketmaster, the options are Credit Card, Maestro/Bancontact and with bank transfer. I don't have a credit card and neither do I have Bancontact (It is Belgian, I can use iDEAL, which is the Dutch counterpart, does that work on the Belgian Ticketmaster? Bancontact works on the Dutch site). So the only option left is with bank transfer, but the site says it only is available on some events. Can somebody confirm whether bank transfer is available and will it work with a Dutch bank (I guess so, it all works with IBAN)?
  3. The "somehow" from Up&Up was definitely sung lower on 24-6 in comparison to the show on 23-6. I'm happy to find out it was live, because I was there on the 24th. However, it is sad that Clocks is lip-synched. Chris will have reasons to do this.
  4. I've downloaded the Coldplay show of June 23rd, which was broadcasted by 3FM (a Dutch radio station). They noted on their site that Everglow was edited out because they were not given permission to use it. What you said might be a good explanation for it. And could Chris have playbacked the stripped Everglow version at Glastonbury? And how about Clocks? I recorded the show and may be able to upload it, so anybody can check if it has been playbacked or not.
  5. I am happy I went to this show. It was hard to get tickets, but eventually I managed to buy two. It was my first show and it was one big spectacle full of magic, fireworks and music. I will never forget this experience. Allthough I had the second to last row in the second ring, all the way on the side, I had a beautiful view. Maybe I will buy standing tickets next time (I hope they come back).
  6. It may depend on the version. I got mine from the Amsterdam show (I went to it, amazing experience), but I saw different bands being used at Glastonbury. Mine had a little speaker in the plastic cover and I saw that the Glastonbury ones had lights on that place.
