It's coming! It's growing! It's coming! It's growing! Yes! Coldplay are back in me, I'm back in heaven. Deep night here, Swallowed In The Sea is going, couldn't stop smiling. Hell fuck yeah, I was waiting for that moment for days. Rationally I wasn't sure this could happen again with that third album, but now it happened!! I fell in love again, that's super!!!

It's not a matter of change, (ROBITH was different from Parachutes and I love them both) it's a fact. In the previous albums, the bass lines, the guitar lines, the drum lines, the piano lines were outstanding and geniuses. In X&Y all is simplified and banalized, that's it.

No, SOS have a powerful bass line. When the bass enter the first time you can feel it in under your skin, that happens exactly at 01:06. So bad, those shivers doesnt' happens so much like in the previous albums.

Well, it's a bit sad, but if you compare that X&Y with the 2 old masterpiece albums, that's quite true. They are really simpified (banalized) their musical structure. Another important signal (for me personally) is that when I was listening to the old Coldplay I was always fascinated and runs to get guitar or to the piano to play and sing all their songs. This thing with X&Y songs has still never happened.

Oh, finally I don't feel alone now. It's my exact feeling about that album.

i dont know about that, i think chris's vocals in fix you are some of his most inspired and heartfelt yet. Try to hear "Easy To Please" from the "Brothers & Sisters" EP.

I'm keeping listening that album 24h/day and the biggest problem is that the Chris voice in that album isn't intimate anymore but it's more rock and louded. That's why I feel something important is missed. They have simplified their music structures too. (I don't want to say banalized) That album is build with more head and less heart.

I believe that was the point ;) I actually would like more piano myself, but then people would start talking that it was supposed to be a different album and it's not, so coldplay has run out of ideas, blah blah. It's better this way! In fact this album is an half step ahead and 2 step behind the other 2 albums.

In that album they have lose something important, that's sad. Sad but true. :( (I'm listening to Easy to Please now, from Brothers & Sisters EP)
