hey again dianne..yeah i just got the email on my blackberry. obviously i am disappointed. i feel badly for you (who shelled out a lot of money to get to tampa) and for all the folks who had tickets to tampa (especially the first timers planning to see Coldplay). i wonder if they really tried to reschedule and with all the intangibles involved...just decided it wasn't feasible enough to make the one trip to Tampa during their Latin American tour. My hope is the group remembers what happened with the Tampa concert and when they tour the states again...put Tampa first on the list of shows (and maybe do 2 shows!). I was hoping to meet everyone I've met online here in the forum. Everyone I have met here has been really really nice. I will still poke my head here from time to time. Dont worry ..I'm still working on getting that dvd to you. Did you record the concert from last Friday?

Hey Dianne...sorry about the vid being erased. I have that same concert on DVD. If you would like a copy ..just let me know! i copied the show from my tivo onto a dvd...maybe i can make a straight copy of it to another dvd....

i think we are holding on to the hope they will still make it back. if they had already canceled the show for good...then i'm sure a lot of the coldplayers would be disappointed! since they haven't made if official..i feel pretty optimistic it will happen one day ....

I feel ya on that Starfish. I'm lucky that at work I can log on from time to time here to check everything out. I have a Rhapsody account and I simply made up a Coldplay playlist and just listen as much as I can throughout the day! Nice!

Yeah I caught this on the original airdate back in October. All of Coldplay's tv appearances are usually subdued (unless you consider the Late Night with Conan O'Brien's version of Talk subdued - Chris went into the studio crowd!). I've been to enough concerts to know that when you are in your own element..you feed off the crowd. And Chris is almost maniacal when he persforms in concert! That's why I try to see them every chance I get!

oh....no overload on my side either. I am the same way Starfish. I have my alarm clock wake me up to coldplay every day. i listen to it on the way to work...on the way home to work. i watch vids of them on youtube all the time (i even watch all the Lost! competition vids just for fun).

coldplay overload...on MTV 2 right now..Tokyo show (only 30 minutes long?!?) and also replay of SNL show with host Jon Hamm...

hmm...i would hope they did not do that for the sake of seeing U2. i think Coldplay had every intention on closing out the USA tour in Tampa. They still would have had time to fly back and catch the show even if the Tampa show went on as scheduled...
