  1. Shy really I see that now that you metion it. I thought she was just in her own world. When she played Sacremento she talked about what a bad night she was having. Then in Oakland after the first song I yelled to her asking if she "was feeling any better tonight. She said "to those who don't know He is talking about last night when I could not stop running my mouth" she seemed to "trip out" fafter that and that and did not say another word to the crowd all night.
  2. Fiona's music is amazing she is a one of those true brillant songwriters. On stage she is a freakin LOON. She made no effort to egage the crowd and acted like she really could care less what we thought. I suppose that's cool she has been a "star" sinces she was 16 and cant' really relate to regular people.
  3. Whatever, U2’s last CD is one of my favorite ever and I have been a fan since I got October for my 12th birthday. I am not BLIND to whatever they do I just like good music. Most of my older friends think Coldplay is a lame watered down version of Radiohead and nothing more then a soft rock POP band for screaming under age girls. I tell them they are wrong and I tell you who don't like U2's new music that you are wrong, But that's just what it's like in my world.
  4. I went on the tickemaster web page 2 hours before the show in Oakland and got floor seats in the 10th row. After the stage is set up in your town ticketmaster will have extra seats for sale so if you can keep checking the day of show if you want a chance to sit up close. Here are some more pics. Tonight’s show kicked ass the crowd was great and the band was having a blast. No Green eyes tonight they went back to Trouble, http://photobucket.com/albums/f391/leftfield69/?sc=1&multi=10
  5. Yea most of the crowd in the front were made up of rich fuckers that were just there because they could afford it or just to say they were there. I saw you catch the finger band. I'll be in sec 101 row 3 tonight have fun. The Oakland crowd will ROCK
  6. Yea i noticed I did not know the name of the song and I looked it up on my Muiscmatch software and the song is listed as "+" so LOL thats what I put down.
  7. I was not keeping track of the setlist. There was no "trouble" which i was expecting and we got "Green Eyes" which I wan not expecting. "Swallowed by the Sea" was the first encore and I can't remember everything else. He made jokes about his hair all night. He said. "I know it's a bummer when you show up at a concert and the lead singer has a different hair cut than the one that he had on the album and I suppose some of you will want your money back and that's OK we are going to make it all back on the sequel to Napoleon Dynamite"
  8. Here a link to my pics I got some good ones. I change them after a while and put pics from Oakland tonight. Yea going to two in a row :-) The show started fairly tame the crowd was fucking asleep I have never been in as lame coldplay show crowd wise but that changed. While playing the acoustic portion Chris broke a sting during “+” and Called it "a horrible tragedy" had a new guitar brought out started to play again. After about 3 chords he stopped and said. Paraphrasing here He said “I know you guys think it’s easy being a Napoleon Dynamite hair having rock star but when your playing in front of 15,000 people in a city you’ve never played and you break a sting it’s a I cant remember what he said but something like a bummer and then he asked for a bit of encouragement to continue and the crowd finally came alive. So he never finished playing “+” and just went into Ring of Fire. After that it was going to be a short acoustic portion since they never played the acoustic song from X and Y. I was in the third row and I yelled out “PLAY GREEN EYES” AND THEY DID. I have not seen green eyes on any set lists and I think we got a treat so that was too cool. Check out the picture of Chris in the crowd he almost got tore to pieces right after that I got a little worried but he made it out. http://photobucket.com/albums/b192/leftfield66/
  9. Ya know I bought her CD's just too know what to expect from her show opining for Coldplay. After several attempts to "get into" her stuff it clicked on me and I can't get enough of it especially the new CD extraordinary machine. She is no doubt a true talent. She composes all of her on music and arrangement. While I love Coldplay's music and energy better but she is a way more interesting artist as far as what she is doing musically. She is outside the box and doing her own thing. Just look up the history to her new album on the internet. The record company refused to release because they could not figure it out and could not hear any singles. Now the album is huge.

  18. OK I posted all this before but had no way of putting all the pictures up but I now I can. So for those that don't know the story, I flew up to Seattle from Oakland because those are the tickets the fan site let me buy. I was a bit expense but worth it. When they came out with the camaras Chris took two picture looked down at me smiled and then took my picture. He then reached over the rail and handed me the camara. Now I'm a 38 year old man and I screamed like a little girl it was so cool. That picture of the super happy guy with the coldplay shirt is me. The other pictures I took with my camara. Hope you guys enjoy. http://photobucket.com/albums/b192/leftfield66/
