I believe the ultimate good is that you help someone else withouth earnign a thing on it yourself. Not even that good conscience. With only the knowledge that you've made someone else happier, better you've done something completely selfless. I sure do know about forgiveness. I've seen people making me feel so miserable, treated me so badly I wished I could just be gone, yet today I have forgiven them for what they did. And how about those not believing in Jesus? How about the Jews, the Muslims, the Hindus, the Buddhists? If we all are equal as the bible says, then they should also get the same treatment after life, and thereby earn a ticket to Hell. Now, that sounds very unfair.

That's what I can't understand about Christianity at all. Michael tells his mom he thinks her dress is nice, when he really thinks it's hidious. = A lie, he's not coming to Heaven Richard brutelessly rapes and kills 5 women and children and get the same punishment. Not going to Heaven. (I am aware of Dante's theories of the different levels of Heaven and that would be different catagories of punishment, but just not going to Heaven seems like tough enough for me)

Does it really matter if people get mad at you for claiming your opinion? ;) And you are kind of contraticting yourself now, you're saying no sin is worse than the other, yet you say they have different consequences. Then what is it that makes one sin equal to the other if not the consequence?

The bible never says "harm people" yet you treat it like it does. Some people do things 'in the name of God' who God is not with. You can't blame their actions on God. I just said I didn't blame God, I clearly pointed out people are misusing religion for their actions as lame excuses to cover what they did. And you're right about one thing; The bible never directly says to harm people, it does that in another way, by saying it's (I repeat) ok with slaves, women should obey their husbands, and being against homosexuality.
