  1. Lol, I meant to post this in the general section, although I hope that someone here besides myself is interested in music videos --
  2. Sounds great, but my commute would be a bit tough I think.
  3. I'm a huge fan of Mark Romanek, and I've been infinitely excited about getting a copy of his Directors Label disc from UMVD last week -- the box set with Romanek also includes ones from Anton Corbijn (U2, Depeche Mode, Nirvana), Jonathan Glazer (Radiohead, Massive Attack), and Stephane Sednaoui (Bjork, Tricky). If anyone hasn't heard of it, it's quite possibly the coolest DVD box set released this year. In the midst of my ranting about Romanek, I noticed online that he directed the Speed of Sound video -- haven't seen it, is it good? One Hour Photo was on TV the other night, and I remembered how good Romanek was with color and light. Oh, here's a write-up from Anti-Music on what I'm ranting about: http://www.antimusic.com/news/05/aug/1801.shtml
  4. I think it was Rob Sheffield who quoted a few years back that Coldplay was only popular because Radiohead didn't have a single out. He's a great writer and a smart guy, but man was he wrong! Although I think that Chris really wants to be the next Bono, but who doesn't... Back to topic, did someone say Snow Patrol already, I thought they were Coldplay when I first heard their single. Keane, ehh, a bit, I thought they were okay.
