timbaland is a very well-known and respected producer primarily in the hip-hop genre.

yeah i think he gets all messed up when touring and meeting tons of musical people... plus he seems to say a bit too much about every fleeting thought that crosses his mind and leaves everyone wondering what the hell is going on with him.

well the latest is that chris became infatuated with timbaland and wanted to explore a heavier direction and new production on the next one. who knows? he seems to have periodic identity crises about wanting everyone to love them vs. doing what they do so well.

the radio stations here hardly ever play coldplay and the ones that do are the pop stations and i can't stand to listen to them.

you summed up my theory on modern music very well eric... i just can't stand so much of it and go running back to my led box set. i always get concerned when i hear all this crap about coldplay (particularly chris...) wanting to go in some wacky direction with some highly commercial production. :rolleyes:

creep is by far the most user friendly radiohead song in my opinion.

it is odd that i like coldplay so much, but something about them is retro to me - reminds me a lot of the pink floyd vibe. i like classic rock and heavier music. favorites of all time are led zep, the doors, floyd, aerosmith, metallica, g n' r, hendrix, etc. i listen to a lot of new stuff, but i just don't like it as much :/

i won't kill you alyssa, at least not today :sneaky: :lol: so does green day still get on your nerves? i can kind of see your point, but i still like some of it.

i like radiohead when i am in a more chilled out mood.

here is my theory on diving - things are where they are supposed to be: they live under water, i live on land... if the time comes when a giant squid drops by for lunch at my house, then i will consider repaying the visit... until then, no. :)
