I might be mistaken, but I remember reading somewhere that this is a cover song they recorded, not wrote? I remember this because Chris mentioned in the article that he was not entirely happy with the version they released. Am I crazy?

Found on the String Tribute to Coldplay album, the last track is a song called Windows. Never heard or heard of this CP song, what's the story?

It reminds me of Shiny Happy People by REM...which I hate. The song just annoys me....which is saying a lot since I love every other Coldplay song. I immediately hated it upon first listen, and have to skip it not to ruin my X&Y pleasure. Trust me, I have tried to like it, but I think it is a horrible song. Sorry!

Who doesn't love warning sign? I haven't seen much of that on the boards. I have to agree that the hardest part is one of their worst songs, even though I give them credit for trying a new sound. I just don't think it works on that song. (No offense to hardest part lovers...it is just the only song I can't even bear to listen to).

"Under the Tracks" is a song by Creeper Lagoon on the Orange County CD soundtrack. Not familiar with others, but don't think it is a Coldplay song until you actually hear it....the web is notoroius for errors.

Well we all know what big fans they are of U2, and they seems to emulate their idols on songs (Hardest Part - REM, Talk - Kraftwerk, etc.), so what song resembles a U2 sound? I could hear Bono and Co. doing Square One easy.

I think the actual title from the Hollywood Bowl gig is "THE World TURNS Upside Down"...not that it is really that big of deal (review COLDPLAY Live 2003 tour documentary). What is the scoop on the two versions?

That doesn't make much sense, since it has no resemblance to the newly released version. Did they just run out of song titles? The released version doesn't even have "the world turned" in the song lyrics. :confused:

Hey, I've pretty much have CP's whole catalogue, but here is one live version that I have but don't know what it is called. I originally thought it was "The Worlds Turned" since that lyric is in the chorus, but now that the song has been officially released as a fix you b-side, it is not the same song.
