  1. i'm disappointed. yes of course the band has to evolve and change their sound, but for me this sounds like a song any generic pop-rock/boy band could have made/sung.
  2. tonsu has expressed much more eloquently what i wished to express. thanks for that
  3. i think the best part of tonight was meeting some nice people. hearing the song was nice too but surely they could've had better speakers?! the sound was really distorted when the whole band was playing in the song. i am a big coldplay fan, but the whole 'being immortalised in their video' stuff is a little misleading. i really hope that people manage to see themselves in the video, but considering how many people were hidden behind others its unlikely. and also considering how short the actual part is that we were needed for i guess a lot of people might be disappointed. sure it was pretty nice to go on a boat ride, but i couldn't help but feel sorry for anyone who had travelled a long way just to be hidden behind some balloons and other faces whilst freezing in the cold.
  4. hey guys, if anyone has a spare ticket and would be willing to take me then please let me know! in exchange i could let you crash at my place in london (we have a sofabed) - ..although i would have to check this with my housemates to confirm its okay.
  5. i didnt like mercury at all at first, but its really grown on me now
  6. i just got round to uploading one more
  7. i have a question...the song that will sang 'death will never conquer' is that a cover?
  8. ok the morning after the gig. it was a little bit amazing. i arrived just as johnny walked into the building so missed him by seconds but whilst i was queuing i saw a lot of commotion down the road, i thought it was johnny again because of the hat he wears - it was CHRIS!! he'd been signing autographs for a while so i didn't think i would be able to get anything - he was kinda in a hurry - so when i asked him for a photo he was like 'man i'm late for souncheck' (which he was because i had been listening to the soundcheck). Then he went to me (and everyone else) 'this is the last one. It's gonna be a classic!' the funny thing is when the photo was taken hes still saying classic so his mouth is wide open and its a really bad photo but to me its the most amazing thing ever lol. I can't believe i met him. The gig was great too. Just one person off the front had a great view - I've uploaded some short youtube videos because i was too impatient too hold the camera up for a whole song. Theres more youtube videos to come when i get round to doing them...
  9. from when the band come on to the actual end of the last song i would say the concert will take around 1.30 to 1.45 hours..the maximum i would say it would be for coldplay is 2 hours.
  10. IM GOING!!!! BRIXTON AND BBC!!!! i just finished my exams today. i dont think life gets any better than this
  11. i think a lot of people here dislike X&Y because of what the band has said about it themselves a while after it was released..i.e. the band has actually influenced peoples opinions of X&Y.
  12. I'm going!!!!! i didn't win tickets but my friend did! Can't actually wait! too excited to type anymore
