see? maybe they think like you...and don't make a big change in who they are. i mean, i like seeing just how distinct one culture is to the next...its lovely and i would learn the language, but keep my culture and me CONDSIDERATE of other cultures... i assume that is what is missing in the situation you described?

I can see how that would be frustrating. My mother doesn't know english that well (she is from Mexico) and I wish she would try harder! But she refuses and still holds on strong to her culture. Which is OKAY..but the refusal to learn better english gets to me, and it is necessary. I mean, if you came here, with your culture...would you assimilate to out culture?

okay okay..Danielle... I guess in a sense I can see what he means but If you really think about it, it would not make sense for everyone's situation...what about transvestites? I mean, they are a mix of their own! But it makes sense since women (unless they are like, models and are being judged my men) women usually dress themselves for other women...and theirselves. Because it is only other girls (and some metro men) that keep up with females styles. And most men really don't pay much attention to the amount of eyeshadow that is placed on a female, or how high their heels are. Men don't notice it, other women do! So really, the dress up is for other gals.

Maiu: They are jealous is all, they will end up gettting boob jobs along the way. My best friend has some huge ones and she loves em, no matter what anyone thinks! I have met people who are convinced that everyone is bisexual in the beginning, and that it's social norms that mold their sexual orientation in the end.. :confused: I don't buy it, but it's a high thought!
