I've always said that if I was fluent in another language I would speak only that language in front of my kids when they are really little so they could pick up both languages. Too bad I'm not fluent :P... marrying a cute foreign guy sounds like a better plan. :wacko: Too bad my bf is from my hometown :disappointed: :P

I can barely say a few things in Spanish and then you all are in here chatting away in English better than most native speakers I know! It's not fair, they really should start teaching foreign languages here at a much younger age. :dozey: It's so stupid that they don't! Sometimes it seems to me that Americans are just lazy and expect the rest of the world to speak our language. :dozey:

I'm just so paranoid now because I did everything I could to be careful this morning, because I knew the roads were in bad condition. It just makes me feel like this could happen again really easily. :( I guess the fact that I was being careful helped to make the accident not so bad. It really could have been a lot worse, so I should just be grateful for that. :shrug:

:hug: Well, my car is sort of old so I didn't have full coverage on my insurance since the car's not worth all that much to begin with. But hopefully it won't cost too much-- I think the only major thing that needs to be done right now is replace the windshield, which will cost be a couple hundred dollars, and that's really not so bad considering. I'll hear from the mechanic tomorrow though to be sure. :\ I'm home now, in pajamas :wacky:, watching some TV and drinking some hot chocolate :nice: I'm not planning on leaving my house until I absolutely have to! :lol: edit: Hi Antonia! :hug:

The major thing that needs to be fixed is that the windshield is cracked. Other than that, I think it's okay. The mechanic is going to check everything out though, just to be safe. There are some dents and stuff, but those are just cosmetic and don't need to be fixed right away. It had snowed early this morning and then as I was driving to school it was rainy and the roads were really icy. I was going really slowly since the roads were so bad but all of a sudden I started sliding and I lost control of the car. There was another car coming from the other direction, so I turned the wheel to the right so as not to hit the other car, and I ended up in a ditch. Luckily I didn't hit the other car or anything else, and since I was going so slowly to begin with I'm fine and my car is going to be fixed without too much of a problem. But I'm still just so shaken up. :(

It was so scary. I hate driving! :angry:

I got into a car accident this morning. :( I'm fine, but there goes all my savings! :bigcry:
