I know, I need to work on being more assertive. I mean, it's not like I let them get away with whatever they want, but I still let them get away with too much. :\

You're going to have the best time!! :dance: :dance: :dance: Ugh I had the LONGEST week of work... maybe I'm spoiled because I really got along well with the people I worked with last summer but I really can't stand the people I'm with this summer... they're rude to me, lazy, don't even like being with the kids, and I feel like I'm doing twice as much work as I should be-- picking up their slack. :dozey: It's hard for me to be authoritative because I feel like I'm about the same age as them, even though I am a bit older. I need to be more assertive.:embarassed:

They rushed the kids out of camp so they could get on the buses before the rain started, and it was the fastest I ever got home! :lol: But it's so humid out, hopefully the storm will cool things off :\

I love the city, I just need to have a full night's worth of rest before I try to take it on for a whole day. :P It's exhausting! She's been here a bunch of times, so the city wasn't anything new for her, but she really wanted to go into Chinatown for lunch, so to Chinatown we went. :rolleyes: It was fun though, I just napped as soon as we got home. :P Yeah, the girls working under me are pretty snobby. Like, okay, we work at a summer camp. I think it is pretty obvious that when you work at a camp part of the deal is that you're going to have to go in the pool. They threw the BIGGEST fit when some of the directors came around to tell them they had to go in the pool-- like the rules don't apply to them or something, you know? :dozey: Hiii Hester! :nice: I read your review, it was great, and I'm glad you had such a good time with Carla and Chavi! Actually I get home around 4:30 ;) Weekend was good but EXHAUSTING-- my cousin was visiting from out of town so I took her into the city yesterday I was just dragging my feet around everywhere we went. I was SO tired!! :( And then I went to sleep at like 10:30 last night and was still exhausted when I woke up this morning :P Don't feel bad for me, I just spent the last 6 weeks doing absolutely nothing, so I've got nothing to complain about :P I just had a rough time today with the bratty high school kids working under me who refuse to listen to anything I ask them to do :dozey:
