  2. yeah, that's my new favorite thing ever.
  3. I'm not single. It was mostly the dubstep part. :dozey: But I didn't mean to sound like as much of an ass as I did. I think I must have been being crazy at the time. Sorry. :disappointed:
  4. i won't deny you anymore
  5. i wouldn't accept it in a religious sense (i wouldn't call you christian, but neither would you, lol), but i wouldn't put you down for it or belittle you for it. i think many other religious figures were pretty cool guys, but that doesn't make me not a christian. i think it's cool that you still find inspiration from jesus, and i'd be happy with the world if many other people did, even if they weren't christians. my theory is that if you introduce people to love and other concepts, then more will be open to christ. and if you don't get around to the christ part, or convert someone, or whatever, you've still got a cool person wandering around thinking, "hey, it's awesome to love others" (though i'm not suggesting that only christians can be open to love or be loving and only christians can spread love). it's always ethical to love others and i think it's always ethical to try to help people learn to love others, no matter what you believe or don't believe in. the thing is that i'm a christian, and part of my life is telling people about jesus, whether in passing or in a situation like mission work or whatever. if somebody does not want to accept my faith, it's not my place to keep digging at people. this is just my religious preference and how i believe i'm meant to carry out different aspects of my religion. i still think that there's a lot of religions out there and a lot of teachers out there who are very inspirational, whatever their religion may be, but i have chosen this path, and this is the one i will follow. if that answers anything. i just woke up. :S it really comes down to preference with religion, where ethics doesn't. i'm pretty sure that it's always morally acceptable to love someone and tell others to at least try to love people, but there are probably ways you can make trying to convert people to a religion immoral. xD religion does not have a place in ethics anyway.
  6. it makes me sad to think that there are people out there who have been completely turned off to christianity because of their encounters with certain types of people. it's really my hope that i can change that around, and help christians realize that no matter what people do, no matter what the sin is, our job as christians is to follow christ. that means loving everybody as well as trying to introduce people to christ. :D lol. i have that effect on people. ;D
  7. i don't ask you to single out a group and attack them mercilessly. i ask you to do everything in love. i don't ask you to give me money. i ask you to do everything in love. perfection is impossible, but just do everything in love. yeah, i believe in the divinity of jesus christ, but the real reason that i struggle to do everything in love every day is not because i want to make it to heaven. i really just want to be a better person and change the world i'm in right now. heaven can wait and it will. yes, i do have to do it for the lord; that's part of doctrine. but my religious preferences do not make me a good person or a bad person. so many christians nowadays want to subscribe to "not of this world" and pretend like they're better than everyone else. the verse doesn't say anything about being a jerk. it doesn't say to ignore the problems of the world and only affiliate with others like you. it says to be godly and fight corruption of yourself as a result of being on this earth. christians have to do work in this world, and i'm not talking about evangelism strictly. the best way to open people's minds to christianity? wear christ on your face. don't slam bibles down people's throats. live as a loving, compassionate person. live like a christian; don't yell about being one. don't make threats of fire and brimstone. just...don't be crazy... i am human. i make mistakes and sometimes i doubt the only thing that makes any real sense to me. and maybe it really does only make sense because i'm human. but does that matter? my own doubts and fears and beliefs have nothing to do with the existence of god! the reasons why people believe or don't believe in god are not indicative of whether or not he exists.
