  1. I still can't decide where to go this summer, Japan or HK. Since I have already bought tickets for a Jazz-festival in Holland, which is July 14th. If I want to see Coldplay on the 13th in HK, I'll have to leave immediately after the concert to catch the flight. Or I can plan my holiday to Japan, where they'll be playing the 18th and 19th. I mailed Smash (the organisation that hosts the Coldplay concerts in Japan) and they said there was a possibility for overseas people to get Coldplay Japan tickets without using the japanese websites.
  2. It says "Best seats in Asiaworld-arena", but I think that block A seats are better than the block 2 seats in the package. A $870 meal sound really expensive to me, they should have included a meeting with the band for that money.
  3. It's a pity for you guys that not many foreign musicians visit HK on their tours. A watched a few times Jade Solid Gold on sattelite-television, and the top 10 songs are always chinese songs. I never see any foreign artist making it to the top 10, can somebody explain this to me?. I've been a few times in HK, and I know that HMV sells foreign music, but I guess people are indeed more attracted to their own stars. Another question is, what is the most popular non-asian group or artist in HK nowadays? I was planning to move to HK over a few years, but that means I'll have less opportunity to visit concerts of the people I like (or I'll have to be brainwashed with all that Cantopop).
  4. Thanks for the info. Is Coldplay popular in HK, or are people are more interested in their local stars? I am cantonese myself, but I don't follow the HK entertainment industry.
  5. Question: How far is the concert from the airport? Because I'm thinking of going to this concert (if there are any tickets left), but my flight leaves at 00:05. Or else I'll have to go to Tokyo for their concert.
  6. How can I get tickets for the Japanese tour? And are they sold out yet?
