Coldplay in Asia
There do not seem to be any plans to play in Malaysia at the moment (as previously forecasted), but they are going to Singapore on 23rd March and then to Abu Dhabi after HK on 28 March...

Coldplay in Asia
Well, the chances of Coldplay playing in SE Asia before they go to Australia is almost zero now since they are flying back to the UK after Japan for a gig on the 18th Feb http://www.warchild.org.uk/ So only chance is after New Zealand - 21st March seems to be a valid rumour since they are finishing on the 19th March in Auckland. I think they will play in Singapore as well. For Hong Kong, well, need to keep fingers crossed... YIKES:\

Coldplay in Asia
Does anyone have any info about Coldplay's tour between 15 Feb and 27 Feb 2009 (between Japan and Australia dates). I presume they will be playing in SE Asia en route to Oz but anyone know where and when? Hoping Hong Kong is on the ticket...;)

Any ideas for the latin america setlist people?
I doubt they will follow the Twisted Logic setlist - this is a new stage for them now, and they will definitely mix it up - I think they will start with something not opened with before. Don't count on songs like Square One/ Talk/ White Shadows/ Clocks even being played. I think it will be an Unplugged set which will be released on CD/DVD... Ok I'm dreaming a bit as well!!!

THE DVD IS COMING !!
Where did you get this information from? Everything points to a late October 2006 release of a live Tour DVD. Since the ACC shows were taped (and there was huge publicity about it with people being given DVD cameras etc) there is a strong chance that these are the shows that will feature in the DVD. Must be the only explanation.

THE DVD IS COMING !!
What's everyone on about? There IS a DVD coming... just not of the Toronto gig in May 2005 whcih was at a club for their promo tour, but of the Toronto ACC gig in 2006 which was over 2 nights towards the end of the Twisted Logic Tour. So don't worry, a DVD of their Toronto show is on its way (just not the gig from the link posted above!)

There have been photos of the Earl's court shows posted on a previous thread.- Coldplay Germany Tour 2007
if true, great news for you. but v v unlikely!- What's with the Asian reviews?
Point well made, but not sure if you are totally correct about people flying out to Hong Kong to see the show - there are quite a large number of expatriates living and working in HK already. That is why the view of the person who started this thread is even more strange seeing that these are HK people (albeit not chinese) who have come to these shows.- Favorite Coldplay concert memory/story
i've only seen them once, in Hong kong a few weeks ago. I have to agree that the intro (with the digital numbers in the background) gave me goosebumps - don't know why but I suppose all that anticipation over so many years finally letting go... I had not read any reviews about any coldplay concerts on this tour so it was a real suprise and treat to see this (although I had heard the audio of a slew of shows) Another one is when Chris twirls that lamp in Fix You... then the crash when he releases. I saw the clip from the Glastonbury show last yr... unreal.- Chris' Concert Witticisms
"For 2 months they'll put me away Cos I took some photos in the toilet in Deep Water Bay" and later... "They'll send me away for week Cos I took a photo in a toilet on the Peak" - Til Kingdom Come, Hong Kong, July 13, 2006. Chris referring to a sign posted in the toilet in Deep Water Bay in Hong Kong prohibiting filming and photo taking which he found amusing.- I CANT BELEIVE WHAT I AM SEEING!!
And I always that it was "You're skin and bones... turned into something beautiful". Sort of like an ugly duckling thing. People who are emaciated or too thin are always referred to as 'skin and bones'. - earls court 2005
