Yeah i can read sheet music but not too good at sight playing. I know, grade 6 is probably too ambitious. What pieces did you play for Grade 4? Goodluck! :)

What material do you play that's at level four? I'm just starting now to learn classical (all i can play is pop/rock). Learning Fur Elise and Menuetto in G Major(Bertini) at the moment

The Key of G is the most useful as a lot of songs are in that. I'd suggest getting either a Key of C or Key of G. As far as brands go, Horner Manine Brand or Special 20 are quite good(I think so anyway) I've a few Suzuki but they aren't a good (a reed in one or two re starting to go!) Lee Oskar are also very good

Just wondering what Grades are people currently on and how do they find there current grade? I am hoping to start soon. I hope to have a Grade 6 in the next 2 or 3 years, however i imagine that's just wishful thinking? I've been playing for the last year and a half or so but im self taught and have never had any lessons. I'm thinking about taking up lessons next year.

Anyone know if there's a website where i can download the sheet music for grades in piano for free??

Capo 1st fret yeah? the song's in C# not D. you can play it with the guitar is tuned to EADGgd also (thats the way i play it!) {using different chords}

There was a thread with it in it before. the chords on ultimate-guitar.com are right from what i remember

you could check ultimate-guitar.com for the chords to the song you want to play and then work it out from there, thats what i do if i cant find any sheet music!

I was thinking of getting the Micro Korg Synthesizer, just wondering has anybody ever used one? if so what did ye think of it? I was looking at the ALESIS MICRON aswell but you use the Micron more on the fly yeah? i mean the micro korg has presets and stuff which is what id prefer i'd be using the synth with my keyboard and would be hoping to create a bit of keane type stuff (like from 'Under the Iron Sea') Any help or advice on which synth is the best to start off with or just on the microkorg would be greatly appreciated
