Honestly I don't know or like the Kills or Bright Eyes that much but anyone know how they are live? And will Coldplay merch be sold? Really looking forward to this. Hope I can see a few of you guys- fellow Coldplay fans at Lolla tomorrow.

This really sucks for me. I'm on vacation on the 23rd. ARe they playing anywhere near chicago? They better play in 09.

Not that it matters, but why isn't it on iTunes? Is it because of Nettwerk? Just curious.

Emm, before they told us they would break up and now seems as if that was a publicity stunt.

Hmm, could chris be jumping the gun on this? Could it be that he wants to say this and then at the last show surprise and play some songs? Or was this a cheap marketing ploy/publicity stunt? Would Coldplay betray their fans like this?

IF they don't play the new songs, the thing I'll be pissed about is that they said they would play new songs.

If artists always made the best decisions, look at these stumbling messes How to Dissisamble an Atomic Bomb, and we should have some idea of what an album's going to be before we hear it. Unless they put together an album like Ok computer or Kid A.

plus they shouldn't taunt us and say they'll play new songs and then say that they wouldn't

But really what if it sucks. then it won't be some great surprise.

besides, if they wanted a big surprise they wouldn't play a new song, part of a new song, and tell us the names of two new songs and that they are ripoffs.

But we should hear and approve the stuff, before the album, there are some of us who don't like bucket for a crown. sometimes you need to give your fans input and it won't be a big surprise anyway for they'll put out a single, the tour will start a month or two before the album, and it could be leaked.

Ok, they'll play new stuff at Brazil (went their allready in 2003).
