my source is a leading british guitar magazine interview with coldplay (chris and johnny) www.totalguitar.co.uk/ johnny has a controller on his pedalboard, so he could switch channels with that.

are you sure? from an interview in total guitar johnny says he is using all channels. Als a lot of od sounds sound pretty on arobtth and x&y sound like deville on drive channel (drive at 4), not sure who is playing them though. Listen f.e. to "warning sign" a nice example of switching between od channel and rat is on "talk".

Hello, I got a question if anyone of you know if johnny is switching channes on his deville? I don't seen an overdrive on his board anymore, and the rat is probably to heavy for a lot of sounds so I wonder where he gets his licht od sounds from, my guess is the drive chanel of the amp, can anyone confirm?
