  1. Thanks so much for the replies and information. I'm not happy I bought a counterfeit, since by and large I have most of these songs from official releases. But, it is a great compilation, and I'll do my homework next time before clicking the 'buy it now' button.
  2. I've spent half an hour searching, and I'm either very bad at using the search tool (possible) or I'm using the wrong terminology. I'm trying to find information about the recent Russian release of Coldplay "B-Sides & Rarities". While I have kept up with the band, I've not kept up with the collectible side of things, and when I stumbled across this 2-disc set on eBay, I just went into auto-pilot mode and bought it. It says Parlophone, and has a catalog number of 32568 . 1/2 4607147918142. it's listed on discogs as well (link below), which lists is as 'unoffical'. Essentially, I just want to know if I bought a counterfeit item, or if this is a genuine Parlophone release, albeit only released in Russia. http://www.discogs.com/Coldplay-B-Sides-Rarities/release/7324041
  3. My four least favorite songs are: Proof. The vocals on this song are annoying - Chris' falsetto can really get on my nerves when he overdoes it. One I Love. It just never appealed to me. Standard forgettable radio-pop fare. Careful Where You Stand. It's like that 'Linger' song by The Cranberries. I think of flatulence every time I hear it. Speed Of Sound. Like 'One I Love'. This song is generic, and has nothing to retain my interest.
  4. It's 8:23PM, and I'm cooking, watching TV, checking in on this board and another, and playing in iTunes.

I've seen three...Asian, Dutch and Australian. No...the Dutch one does not have videos - just audio on the 2nd disc. I have only seen the Aussie one online, so I'm not sure what's on there. My local record store had the other two...and I bought the Dutch one out of desperation..I wanted Gravity & Sleeping Sun.....I'm stupid sometimes...essentially paying 40 dollars for two songs. The alternative was was waiting for the single to arrive in the mail, and I prefer instant gratification when it comes to music.

There are a few different tour versions of x&y. I recently bought the Dutch Tour Edition, which had a 2nd disc with b-sides. The southeast asian edition, which I believe you are referring to, is also 2 discs, but disc two is DVD only - so I would not reccommend this if you do not have the means to extract the audio from the DVD. *shrug*

Hi all, First post here. Been a fan of Coldplay from their start (in the US), but never involved in any online communities. Found myself needing a Coldplay fix in a severe way lately, and looking for new material to listen to is what lead me to this board...I've been obsessed with non album tracks lately...seeing as how so many have piled up while I wasn't paying attention. This place seems great! So, anyway, it's nice to meet everyone and I'll see you 'round.
