Another babyshambles gig Sunday 14th @ Dublin Castle, Camden, apparently.

I found this on some paper Carl Barat is reportedly Pete Doherty’s backup best man. Doherty apparently really wanted his Babyshambles guitarist Mick Whitnall to do the honors in Pete’s perpetually forthcoming wedding to Kate Moss. But Moss apparently thinks Whitnall is a bad influence on her future husband, so the couple has allegedly agreed on Barat. Does she know that Barat gets the best crack? :o i can't believe they wrote that

Here's another review and pictures from fdb It was fucking great, the perfect venue. They finished with Fuck Forever before Pete literally sailed off the stage over the heads of the crowd. There were so many pappers there though, with their huge cameras trying to get a shot of "junkie Pete" for the tabloids. It was quite a bizarre sight. I took delight in moshing into them. What it says about Carl being the best man i really don't think that would be true since there not exactly the best of friends at the minute and havent seen each other since like june was it:thinking:. And im sure there will be alot more articles about the Kate and Peter since they've got pictures of Kate looking at a house for sale.

This is from me.uk i went, it was a very good night. the Dublin was completely packed, only cost £6 as well The gig was great fun, the sort of thing that Max Carlish would have shouted 'stop the madness' to. played a couple of songs i didn't know, one where peter and purple kept rapping something about 'do you really want to know' Purple wasn't in it much though. Delivery and Carry on up the morning were excellent, Zombie as well. Although best were probably the songs we've heard loads but which were great in such a small venue. Time for Heroes was awesome, there was a complete stage invasion during that, people kept climbing on the stage the whole time and purple would shove them off eventually, peter was jumping into the crowd as well and leaning over (i did probably more groping than was necessary ) pipedown and fuck forever were great too because they're so good live anyway but i think shambles can sound best in a tiny room with no security/barriers etc. the security outside were tough though, apparantly they weren't even letting Drew in for a while because he didn't have a stamp on his hand oh yes and adam has grown a beard. quickly as well seeing as it wasn't there in mid-december. i have a couple of good photos i'll put up later on when my phone's charged again

I know he looked all smart and then put that big ugly thing on his head. Someone said that amy winehouse was there to. And i don't think peter was to happy about the paps either

It's 12 o clock now so wooo steph will have been there for half an hour i hope she meets them and take pictures, im definetly stayin up im not tired at all probably cause i got up at 3pm im so lazy

And now it's started :dance: yey and they had a rehersal for it to which is like pretty amazin for shambles and also cause it's a surprise gig, i don't think it will be very full cause they didn't say anything till late.
