  1. Weird, it works for me. I guess just use what works for you.
  2. Hey, sorry for not paying attention to the download... here is the link to the music for anyone that can't get any other link to work: link It isn't 100% right, but it's pretty close.
  3. Well the double neck is actually an Agile, a (very good) Gibson copy, I found it for $500, where Gibson wants $3,000. It is easier than you think to play - just like a pickup switch, there is a neck switch: 6 string, 12 string, or both necks active at the same time. You just have to get used to switching between necks and the added weight (it's VERY heavy), but other than that it's a blast to play.
  4. I wanted to keep the images as large as possible, so here's links to my pictures: http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a290/jsobeck2/music/?action=view&current=100_0799web.jpg ^^ Powermac G5, Custom built PC, Mackie ONYX mixer with Firewire for recording http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a290/jsobeck2/music/?action=view&current=100_0782.jpg ^^ Here goes, left to right, guitars then amps Agile AL-2000 (Les Paul copy - love it) Fender Acoustic/Electric Gibson Faded SG SX SJB56 (Fender copy) Agile Valkyrie Doubleneck (Gibson copy - plays just as good) Ibanex GRX20L Douglas 6 String Bass Marshall 15W Practice Amp Crate 60W Amp (about 20 years old - great vintage sound) SX 10W Bass Practice Amp Behringer 120W Bass Amp Behringer 100W Guitar Amp On the very right, covered: Yamaha PSR-540 keyboard Not pictured: Yamaha upright piano, Pearl Drums, Behringer Footboard controller, all the little stuff guitar players have lying around And before Mig-El (or someone else) asks, no, I am not a millionaire, or even rich. Technically I am an almost broke musician constantly buying new gear :)
  5. Something you might want to check out is Sabian's AAX X-Celerator Hi Hats. I was always a Zildjian person, but when I went to my local Guitar Center and placed some A Custom Mastersound hats next to these, the Sabian's completely blew them away. Not the cheapest, but completely worth it. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Sabian-AAX-XCelerator-HiHats?sku=446747
  6. Thanks for the streaming link, Maj039! And as for the DVD, I had an idea to get EMI to do something...... Everyone should send the following message (or similar) to EMI: Please remember to change the message as is applicable, it is not listed in my area so I did put that line in there. My idea is that if EMI receives say, a few hundred of these, perhaps they will rethink their decision about the DVD. Here is the link to contact EMI: http://www.emimusic.ca/contact.asp. I hope everyone will consider doing this as another way to try to bring back the Toronto DVD.
  7. Hey everyone - about the White Christmas sheet: I own my own record company, and business has picked up, it usually does at this time of year. That is why I haven't been around these forums that often. I just added a few major sessions in the next couple of weeks and it will be taking up most of my time, and with school and all I do not foresee having any time to transcribe your piece. I am sorry I won't have time, but I did not expect this much business to come up.
  8. Hi, very sorry about this. The host was down for several days and I was not alerted until yesterday. For some reason I cannot add the domain back yet, for now use this link: http://sobecknetworks.x10hosting.com/coldplay%20-%20have%20yourself%20a%20merry%20little%20christmas.pdf
  9. No, I can assure you that the link is not dead, I just tried downloading the file myself. There may have been a small period of downtime, I do not have the most reliable host.
  10. Normally, I would gladly accept a request. However, I am going to have to say no on this one, because I would have to rewrite the whole piece from scratch (which takes an hour or two), unless anyone knows of a way of automatically transposing in Finale 2007. However, if you were to download Finale Notepad (for free from finalemusic.com) I would be happy to send you the editable file so you can make any changes you want. Also, Trouble87 - I have not forgotten, I am a student and am very busy this week studying and such. My plan is to look at your song over the long weekend.
  11. Trouble87 - I would gladly try, if I had the song to listen to. I will try to locate it, if anyone happens to have it let me know. Glad everyone is pleased with the transcription.

Yes, it is a compilation of B-sides and a few live tracks, it came out recently this year. As for why its not on the site, I would guess either because it could be considered not an "official album" or because it came out very recently and the page just hasn't been updated yet.
  13. The entire piece is written out, I have the file available for download at: http://www.sobecknetworks.com/coldplay%20-%20have%20yourself%20a%20merry%20little%20christmas.pdf. As for the piece itself, it is almost completely accurate. I was unable to figure out only a few chords, and put whatever sounded best. Please let me know what you think. Also, if you have Finale and would like the editable file, I can also provide that.
  14. Cmaj7 = Abmaj7 Am7 = Fm7 Dm7 = Bbm7 F7 = Db7 Em7 = Cm7 These aren't right for sure, but I know the first chord is Ab, so the laws of music say those are the rest of the chords. EDIT: I just realized and figured out how rediculously simple some of the transitions are, and thanks to MellowlikeYellow, I managed to get the chords to the rest of the song. This means we now have the complete song figured out, and I am working on a version on a staff (with chords for those of you that don't like the staff) as I type this. I should have a link to the finished song to download by the end of the day tomorrow.
  15. G# = Ab C#6 almost = Bb minor Eb6 - could be right, not sure I will post what I have on a staff later tonight.
