  1. Oh dearie dearie me. Right. First of all, I didn't start this thread. I have never mentioned anything along the lines of "Coldplay is for gays"... in fact quite the opposite, I actually berated the person who did so. So it wasn't me that was being called homophobic or racist, as I am anything but. I do think it's important to know the difference between the two though. Secondly, I have not been anything but polite and balanced in each of my posts in this forum. I haven't called anyone any names, and I haven't slated Coldplay in any way, shape or form. Yes, I have a strange sense of humour, something I have in common with all the many, many fans of hugely popular comedy acts such as, say, Reeves and Mortimer or The Mighty Boosh. Having a strange sense of humour is not something to be ashamed of, nor is it particularly unusual. To describe me as "brain damaged" is simply offensive, not to mention innaccurate. You know nothing about me, so I'd prefer it if you didn't jump to ridiculous conclusions. If you're so against "flaming" and "trolls", perhaps a good place to start would be to not drop to that level yourself. I haven't, so it'd be nice if you'd treat me with the same courtesy. But if all you want to do is spend all day reading posts saying things like, "OMG I <3 coldplay lol chris martin is sooooo sexi wot do u guyz fink?" then fine, knock yourselves out. There are plenty of other people who will oblige. Just don't don't expect me to be one of them. Regardless, I'm not so insecure as to be affected by the comments of some random stranger who I'm never likely to meet. It's pretty laughable how quickly a lot of people in this thread have jumped onto the defensive and started screaming insults back at the guy who started this thread - talk about playing into his hands! People don't log onto forums of bands they dislike in order to change the opinions of existing members; they do it to get a reaction out of you. And that's exactly what's happened here. This thread is now five pages long - that's a lot longer than most of the other threads round here. Doesn't that tell you something? Instead of getting upset about it, just don't reply. Life goes on regardless, you know? Little life lesson for you there. Thank you for listening. For whatever difference it makes. PS. By the way, Coldplay SUCK. :laugh3:
  2. Er, no. 'Gay' is not a race, it's a sexual orientation. If you're against gays, you are homophobic. Important difference. Sorry. As you were.
  3. No life? Ouch. And so unnecessary considering I was sticking up for Coldplay and their otherwordly powers of healing... not to mention a little rich, but let's not go there. Me, I'm just trying to allieviate the boredom of my job. But hey, live and let live I say. By the way, your so-called "quote" is rather inaccurate. I didn't say I sprinted into the wall, I actually did it. I have dyspraxia and it wounds me that you would mock my affliction. I was aiming for the doorway, obviously. Oh, and to the guy who started this ridiculous thread: was it THE Scientist who told you that nugget of wisdom? 'Cos, you know, science and progress do not speak as loud as my heart. Peace out.
  4. No offence, but I was asking Chris Martin, not you.
  5. Can Superman breathe in space?
  6. Hang on, I'll just count. *Sound of rummaging* Err... none.
  7. How dare you? I've never heard of the Black Crowes but they're probably rubbish if they don't sound like Coldplay. My whole family was in a serious car crash and went into a coma due to some kind of head injury or something. I wasn't involved. But when I went to visit them in the room they all shared in hospital, I played "Fix You" to them on my portable ghetto blaster and one by one they all woke up and said thank you to me. I replied, "Don't thank me, thank Chris Martin!" and sprinted full tilt into the wall. Coldplay forever!!!
