Someone I know has been in touch with Liverpool Echo Arena and they don't even know anything about it either.. What's going on?

Just had this email from [email protected] saying: Due to scheduling reasons beyond our control some dates on the Coldplay UK tour have had to be repositioned . The show in Liverpool has now been moved from the 10th of December to the 7th of December. Your tickets are valid for the new date. Refunds are available on return of the tickets. All refunds will need to be claimed by 30/11/2008 Unfortunately refunds cannot be issued after this date. We recommend that you return your tickets to us by a secure postal service to See Tickets, Room 4, Norfolk House 47 Upper Parliament Street, Nottingham NG1 2AB, with a copy of this letter/e-mail. Refunds cannot be made for tickets not received by our office. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this rescheduling and look forward to seeing you on the new date. Just thought you better check that your venue is still on the same day! I've checked Liverpool Echo arena and there's nothing changed (even Coldplay.com's tour dates haven't changed either!) ---------------------- Jenjie's edit: I've had a message back from my Coldplay source to say yes, there are some changes to the UK schedule. Anchorman/Messenger will be publishing a message with full details shortly. So watch this space.

Recorded these 2 today in a local studio but ran out of time to do a final mix! Cheers Luigio.. We're always experimenting with new material.. We do a lot more than just that setlist.. We cover X&Y in it's entirety.. Plus we're about to start learning obscure stuff like 'Brothers and Sisters' and Coldplay's cover of 'You only live twice' Many thanks for the kind comments guys.. Really appreciated :)

We only had the better recording in the first set so Amsterdam will definetly be there :) Only had exceprts from the second set to be honest.. I'll be putting as many up very soon and will post links here so you can let me know what you think :)

I'm just messing around with the video actually. I'll be putting some footage on the website along with a few more songs hopefully..

Thank you! We do try!! :) Gareth (guitarist) actually plays a Fender Telecaster ;) Dan (singer) has only been with us for about 3 months and he plays piano and extra guitars.. He does lead keys on Clocks and Speed of Sound.. We also have Chris doing all the backing strings, etc so we have that fuller sound.. Yeah there's 5 of us in the band.. Hi Guys. We did a gig on Friday night and I managed to record some songs via my Camcorder which my girlfriend was using to film us.. I've not edited them or anything, just recorded from the camcorder's microphone which I then created a couple of mp3's from the footage.. We've only been together for just on a year, it's not like we're professional or anything... Just love what we do! Sounds better live obviously. We play Coldplay covers, we don't pretend to be Coldplay or anything :laugh3: , just all big Coldplay fans that really love playing their songs.. We don't even do it for the money, just for the pure love of their music and to share the best band in the world to people who don't really know them... Anyway.. Would like your feedback on these! Anyone know what Chris uses to get that strange voice on the opening lyrics to the live version of Square One? It's kinda like a robot style effect (Vocoder perhaps) on ' You're in control.. etc' Anyone have any idea what he is using?

I desperately need a decent recording minus crowd of the opening 'tick tock' of Square One for a Coldplay tribute band I'm the Bass player in. We've got a massive gig coming up in May and would really like it as an opener for when we start Square One.. Can anyone help at all? I've managed to sample a small portion from an MTV live mp3 version when the crowd is at its quietist and looped it for about 10 minutes but it's not the best.. If you can help I'll buy you all an ice cream! :D
