I like the song, and after he mentioned it was like "a tip of the hat" to REM (thanks be my green eyes^^^) i did hear the resemblance to "losing my religion" but they still kept it coldplay. i like the song and the video, but i like the video particularly because Will Champion looks super sexy cool in it (or super cool sexy... yes, super cool sexy...)

i haven't seen a piccie of the champion baby (the champion baby!!!! how cool does that sound??) but i figure if Will and Marianne wanted a public piccie of Ava it would have happened or will happen -- until then i can't help but feel guilty for looking at pics of him and his family without his knowing and or wanting it ( i dunno if you all have visited the Moses or Apple thread but i know some there feel the same way)-- that said, even though i feel bad and guilty, at the same time i would love to see a piccie of Ava... what's wrong with me?!!! :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :embarassed: :shame: :shame:

I totally second the idea for a band analysis! I mean, I did think their Brit performance was better than the Grammys, but having said that I also thought their Grammy performance was Amazing, so the Brit performance was just more Amazing!!!! These guys are way too hard on themselves!!!

oh but is IS so HARD to decide!!! so i won't!!! and i think this thread should be called the greatest Coldplay album track of all time SO FAR... it's almost like asking one to name their fave Beatle song (even tho they are done makin albums i'm sure it would be hrad to a person to pick just one of their songs...)

they are so nice to give her that drawing! i like how it is colored in and that they or at least one of them has seen or heard of one of the best movies of all time, "the sound of music"! *sings* coldplay is one of my favorite things... :guitarist:

I was watching a cable channel here in the US called the USA Network and it had a commercial that asked what vegetarian celebrities do on thanksgiving (a US holiday when everyone usually eats turkey) and they said something like, what do gwyneth paltrow and chris martin have on their dinner table, and when they said that, they showed a pic of gwyn on the red carpet at the oscars, and a pic of jonny buckland at the grammys! :laugh3: :\ :\ it made me laugh and shake my head at their cluelessness...

thanks for posting!!! always nice to hear fr Will -- he has such sweet things to say -- Do you have any advice for young drummer and bands who are just starting out? I feel that it is important to base a band around a group of friends. Chemistry between band mates is something that you cannot overestimate. It's more important than technical ability in my opinion. Aww, what can I say -- the man has his priorities straight when it comes to the band and music --what a sweetie!!! :nice:
