it's all good muzztobecool :) i'm excited for the album too. i'm sure it'll be worth the wait. i'm scared to hear abt what the critics will say. i remember there was a really harsh review of x &y by someone fr the new york times ("the case for coldplay"), and chris martin said he and the band took it somewhat hard (or something like that - they certainly werent happy abt it). but whatever - knowing CP, the album will be really good if not great. i'm curious to how their sound will have changed (if at all)...:)

Something old and something new (well not really new it's been posted on other threads)...but yeah, i feel bad for Guy, being overshadowed by Will's goodlookingness :D but then again i'm biased :rolleyes:

yay!!! so happy with the news!!! thank you prospekt- whoever you are! so so so so so so so so so so so so very very very very very excited for the new album, though i know it won't be out for a while. knowing their past albums, i'm sure it'll be worth the wait! about the speculation about the songs/song titles, i don't think we can really tell or know what to expect (other than something good if not great- fr CP). i mean, how can you tell from the title of a song whether it'll be good? well, maybe from aqua's barbie girl you can tell that would be a bad song, but then again that song was a hit and CP sang it once (kinda). not that i'm even putting the two groups on the same musical level, but, what i'm saying is we can't really know. and besides, it's rare anyone ever says, hey, that song is brilliant, but that title sucks and now i don't want to listen to it anymore....point being- CP is awesome and the next album will be great!!!

he wouldnt have had to miss jonny's bday...and he would have been performing for us :) but yeah, i kindly direct everyone to jonny's birthday thread. thanks for the reminder Texasluvsjonny

i feel awful for thinking this but i really hope the person who posted isn't just saying chris martin will perform so us CP fans will watch the vmas. i have seen some adverts for the show and they really annoy me, i was never planning to watch until news that chris would perform was posted. but if chris does perform, it'll totally be worth it!!!!!
