Libertadores 2012
First leg in our draw against Fluminense in the Round of 16. We should've won this match. We were better, but the players panicked after Dátolo missed that penalty. It took us some time to get back on out feet and it was too late. The second leg is on 10/05 (or 5/10 in MM/DD [never understood why some countries use MM/DD]).

Nope, there shouldn't. That isn't even an artificial turf, it's just a green carpet. Absurd.

Libertadores 2012
We played like shit, lost to one of the worst teams in the competition and were the team with the worst record to get to the next stage. But I don't care. We advanced, and I'll be screaming my lungs out next week at Beira-Rio. VAMO VAMO INTER!!

Libertadores 2012
It's a shame to see the two biggest uruguayan teams being knocked out that way. Uruguayan football was doing so well: got to the semi-finals in the World Cup 2010 and Peñarol were the runners-up to the last edition of the Libertadores Cup. In the meantime, Defensor Sporting is going to the next stage.

Libertadores 2012
Okay, we didn't win, but we didn't lose either. It wasn't a bad result. If we win our last game, we'll get to the next stage. Simple as that.

- Indianapolis Colts to release Peyton Manning
It's a shame I've only managed to watch one season with #18 wearing the Colts jersey. I'll be forever grateful for what he did to his franchise. But now the old king is dead, long live the king! Thank you, Greatest Of All Time, and welcome Luck! EDIT: I HAVE to buy a Manning jersey. And a Luck one too.- The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
I meant jersey (yes, I own a Bale shirt [or jersey, whatever]).- The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
Well, that is how it works for you. For me, it's different. On the Internet, you can see Arsenal fans laughing at Tottenham when they lose, and vice-versa. I know a few brazilian Arsenal fans on the Internet, and a former classmate of mine is an Arsenal fan. It's great to wake up in the morning and think "great, we won the derby! I'm going to wear my Bale shirt and laugh at my gooner friend", and it sucks when you wake up and thinks "damn, we lost the derby, that stupid gooner friend is going to mock me. Aw, screw him, I'm going to wear my Bale shirt anyway, just so he knows how proud I am to be a Tottenham fan".- The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
Just because I'm mocking them, doesn't mean I'm unable to acknowledge they played a great match. But they are out. And I'm a Tottenham fan FFS, and as such, my role is to mock Arsenal. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT THE- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA- The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
I honestly don't care about Milan, but I'll always support whoever plays Arsenal. That isn't wrong or "dick-esque", it's simply what regular fans do. They're OUT. Isn't that a good enough reason? No, it doesn't. I'm not an idiot. It was a great effort. Arsenal played a great match, and I applaud it. But they're out, and I find it funny. No, Tottenham, wouldn't have scored 4 in the second leg, but it wouldn't have suffered 4 goals in the first leg either.- The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
Rooting for a team and laughing at your rival team doesn't mean you're a dick. In fact, it means you're a regular football fan. You should try it one of these days.- The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
Are you guys sure about that? You're missing all the fun. So, let me start: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA- The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
