And those shoes actually have a bar connecting the heel and sole: but she did say to People.com that she was "in pain" and that she felt like she was in a "torture vice". Interestingly enough, Alber Elbaz (the designer of the shoes) had to scrap the shoes from production because even his own models had a hard time walking in them at the fashion show.
