I don't think they know how to play the new stuff live yet :cry: I'm not convinced that Chris and Jonny are even playing the keyboard 'strings' on Viva La Vida to be honest. There's a moment on that video where Chris goes back to play the keyboard and he completely misses the keys but the string sample is playing perfectly and in time. I think they might be using backing tracks heavily on the new stuff. They should spend abit more money they are a big enough band now and tour with a string section or something and not try and do too many things at once. No wonder Chris's voice is shakey if he's stressing about re-creating the sound of a full string section on just two keyboards! :laugh3:

I use a loop pedal when i play gigs and stuff so know what you mean and it is possible he's looping it, but why does the keyboard sound completely cut out when the song changes with the guitar riff (4:39)? He's playing the keyboard but no sound is coming out of it? Plus if he has looped the piano riff when it kicks back in at the end chris is walking away towards to TV he would have been no where near the pedal to start the loop off again. Unless someone else is controling it. Oh I don't know haha I'm just not convinced he's playing that keyboard live. I understand where your coming from tho, and I'm hoping your right, coz the thought of them using backing tracks makes me cringe!!!

Why make it totally obvious he's not playing the piano riff?!?! :shocked2: I wish chris would go back to just playing the piano and guitar without running around pretending he's Bono :cry: I'm gonna get some stick for saying that, aren't i :laugh3: I love chris don't get me wrong but he should stop doing it especially if it means using shitty backing tracks! :cry: Chris needs to chill out aswell, that guy saying 29 was only messing around! chris must be stressed

Someone had a male blow up doll and had put an arrow to it's bum saying "Make Trade Fair" :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3: as soon as they walked on stage this blow up doll was bouncing all over the crowd was hillarious, chris actually asked for it to be put away as it was putting him off :laugh3: :laugh3:

I also absolutely love Lovers In Japan, Lost!, Viva La Vida (but I loved that before i heard the album) and Death and all his Friends :dance: I wasn't that keen on Cemeteries of London on first listen but it's starting to grow on me after two days of constant listening :laugh3: How about you, what's your favourites?

no they are from the X&Y tour. They'd release loads of yellow balloons into the crowd when they played Yellow. No one knows what the magic balls are yet. I'm intriged to know tho :D

YES YES YES me too!!! The violin is what got me hooked to that track aswell :D I found the song abit samey up until that amazing violin came in :D

i personally think the album kicks in properly on track 3 Lost! I'm not fussed on Cemetries Of London. But 42, Lovers In Japan, Viva La Vida and Death And All His Friends are the stand out tracks on first listen. I've had the album since Wednesday and in that time I've grown to like Strawberry Swing, in fact I love it. I also have grown to like Yes alot more than I did previously

really? :cry: sorry to hear that, maybe it will be a grower. I've had it for a few days now I was naughty and downloaded the leak. I didn't like 1 or 2 of the tracks on first listen but after a few listens they did grow on me.
