For anyone wanting to check out some new music
Hi fellow Coldplayers :-) This thread is for anyone who wants to check out some new music :-) I have just released an album called 'Life On Repeat' and Coldplay are one of the bands who over the last 12 years have inspired me musically, so I thought it was appropriate to share the album here with you guys The album is streaming at Bandcamp now: http://barrybriercliffe.bandcamp.com/album/life-on-repeat It would be great if you give the album a listen, feel free to get in touch and let me know what you think as I'd love to know what you all think of it :-) Also if you fancy buying the album (no obligation at all as it's streaming for free for you to listen) you can buy it as either a physical CD for £10 including postage and packing or a digital download for £7... Just choose which version you would like and click 'buy' Thanks in advance for listening and I hope you like it :-) Barry http://www.barrybriercliffe.co.uk

http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/coldplay/2010/royal-court-theatre-liverpool-england-3bd28010.html Correct setlist, I think from what I can remember hahaha- Live Blog from Liverpool and Newcastle Gigs December 19 & 20 [aka Return of the F5 abusers!]
Glass Of Water wasn't 2nd, Yellow was. I think Glass Of Water was after Clocks, it was near the end of the main set anyway I think if I remember right. Rest of the setlist looks right tho :-) WHAT A BRILLIANT GIG!! Just got home, met Chris after the show aswell, he took the time to speak to everyone who waited and to sign everyone's stuff. He looked really chilled and relaxed. Legend :D I'm still buzzing!!!- Radiohead
I've set up a Facebook group to try and get Fitter Happier in the charts this Christmas. The Rage Against The Machine Christmas number one group made me think about which Radiohead track would be most funny as a Christmas single and I decided to set the group up for a laugh. I'm in no way mocking Radiohead, as I'm a massive fan, have been for nearly 10 years and they are one of my favourite bands, it's just 'Fitter Happier' would be hillarious in the charts at Christmas time, especially with all this X Factor shite which is being pumped out to us every year, it's past a joke! If you find this funny and want to join and maybe buy Fitter Happier from Sunday 13th December and try and get it as high up the chart as possible, please join! http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=198389882884- Elbow
I had side view seats and I had an amazing view! It really was a fantastic gig, I was made up they played 'Bitten By The Tailfly' and 'Scattered Black And Whites' :-D Here's what I managed to filmed. We've not actually written a song together but anyway that's irrelevant. This hasn't got anything to do with me being mates with James. I just read the thread and I agree with not only James but a few other people that you are ignoring his posts.- Does anyone find this funny?
You Go James My Son, I'm Backing You.- The official **KEANE** thread
did it work for anyone? I watched it with my glasses on and I have to say I only really noticed the 3D effect a couple of times. Do I need to get my eyes fixed? hahaha- My cover of Viva La Vida (Video with loop pedal)
upload a vid, would love to hear a piano version of Viva La Vida :D I love your signature by the way :laugh3: are they wrapped in a bed sheet? :laugh3:- Radiohead Are Poor
everyone is entitled to their opinion fair play you've got alot of balls. I don't agree with a word you say tho but hey it would be a boring world if we all liked the same stuff. All I'll say is go listen to 'Street Spirit', 'Paranoid Android' and 'How To Disappear Completely' and tell me if they really do "create crap sounding music" Your view is abit out there mate, but fair play to ya if that's how you feel, Radiohead won't appeal to everyone :laugh3:- My cover of Viva La Vida (Video with loop pedal)
yeah you're right, loop pedals are great fun to use and you can do some really cool stuff with them. Mine cost me £150 when I bought it 5 years ago. Worth every penny, hours of fun :D- My cover of Viva La Vida (Video with loop pedal)
how do you mean hillarious? :laugh3: does that mean it's good or terrible? :laugh3:- My cover of Viva La Vida (Video with loop pedal)
i love my loop pedal mine is a Boss RC20 loop station. They are abit expensive tho saying that ain't all pedals these days! Thanks for watching :D- My cover of Viva La Vida (Video with loop pedal)
I played a gig on Monday (2nd March) in Liverpool at a place called the Bar 3345 which is part of Parr Street recording studios (where Coldplay recorded bits of 'Parachutes', 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' and one or two tracks for 'X&Y'). Anyway, the gig went really well and I spent the whole of last week rehearsing for it and I decided to film one of the songs I was practising. I posted an 8 track recording of me covering 'Viva La Vida' last year on the board but now you can actually see me playing it. In the video I'm using a loop pedal to layer all the parts up. Hope you enjoy it, please let me know what you think. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nkl3Uwpxgg4]YouTube - Rehearsing 'Viva La Vida'[/ame]- The Big 5,000 (The Build-up & Aftermath inc. hail to the walker :D- U2
i don't know what to make of the new album. it's not like HTDAAB at all, it's very different. More chilled out and soundscapey. i really like No Line on the Horizon, nice riff on the chorus, nice harmonies too. Magnificent is another gooden too. Overall tho I'm just not sure the album doesn't seem to go anywhere. might be a grower. On first listen it's not as good as HTDAAB in my opinion.- Travis
awww i can imagine it will look amazing in a frame :D wahoo! - Live Blog from Liverpool and Newcastle Gigs December 19 & 20 [aka Return of the F5 abusers!]
