  1. what a great night! definitely the best coldplay concert i've been to crowd-wise (my third show) unfortunately due to my friend being really hungry, we had to go and get food which meant I was unable to secure my place during jason mraz. we were about 15 rows from the stage and it was quite hard for me to see since i'm short =( but the crowd was awesome! lots of singing along during many of the songs (oh-ohs a la viva la vida), great turn out, loved the billie jean singing and their little song about the fireworks and Quebec and all that other jazz haha. Sad that they didn't play glass of water but the show was so much fun it didn't bother me too much. i just wish it didn't have to end...
  2. another question! have you guys all gotten your tickets already? osheaga tickets dont...sell out do they? i was thinking of just buying them when i get there since i'm from out of town, but if they might get sold out, i'll get them soon. any suggestions?
  3. haha, yeah, I think I'll do that cept I always feel bad soooo i might just stay at the stage since i like jason mraz and he's on before them on the same stage.
  4. osheaga is great--i think the fact that there are so many different stages and bands to check out is awesome! i say enjoy the day, check out as many musical acts as you can (see who's playing and maybe find out before hand if they're your type of music) and have fun until coldplay comes on. i wonder if coldplay fans will be staking out the stage they're on the whole day? i intend on seeing lots of acts and then making my way to their stage before they come on...how early is everyone going to be waiting at their stage?
  5. yes please! I'd like to be put onto the "I can haz spare?" list =) thanks! (Canada)
  6. thanks for the suggestions about the vip tickets guys! i actually realized that my brother's wedding is the sunday (haha, Aug 2). For a second there I had a mini heart attack...thought I'd have to miss coldplay! Osheaga tickets dont sell out do they? I remember buying them super late two summers ago and was fine. I don't have to buy soon do I? (financial situation is a bit better next week) thanks
  7. also, im tempted to get the vip passes....wat do y'all think? (i love the lineups for both days)
  8. noooooooooooooooooooooo but of course i am going to this. AH THIS IS AN AMAZING LINE UP
  9. ahhh I hope so! I passed on Toronto because I'm hoping there will be a Montreal date. Ah, I'd die of happiness. Is there/are there any amphitheaters that would be good? I don't know about osheaga though--they're music doesn't really fit their vibe. And I would really not enjoy the concert if it was there. How the main stage is set up and with the hill, I think i'd find it really annoying.
  10. sweet deal! however, I'm not sure what type of precautions you could take but, one of my friends had gotten tickets from a person from an online site like craigslists and when they went to the concert, they didn't work. I know that through ticketmaster, if you lose your tickets you can call the place and tell them and they issue you new ones (older ones become void). But of course, I've had friends (more often then not) get real tickets. just sayin since this deal sounds almost...too sweet? anyway, good luck!
  11. I think what people are taking issue to as far as it being unfair, is that it's not fair to their (Coldplay) fans. There's a difference between that and being an Argos fan and getting perks or, being a loyal customer to the Rogers/ACC and getting perks. I've never gotten tickets through a general sale before--anyone have luck getting really good tickets for that?
  12. arrggg ah this is ridiculous! Coldplay should be rewarding their fans, not the stadium that hosts argo games rewarding argo fans. No way am I purchasing vouchers that would only increase the already high ticket price. Why are the tickets so expensive anyway? Floor seats were $90 in October when I saw them (before fees) and now they're $99? I'd understand a signup for an argos newsletter or something but ugh, this sucks. Maybe I'll just wait and see if they do another Canadian date if I can't get good tickets on monday
  13. ahh I really hope so! there are 3 or 4 days in between toronto and a us date correct? I hope they add other locations in Canada (instead of adding more toronto shows) that are a little closer to me hahaha. Montreal would be great.
  14. well I think its pretty much certain at this point that it'll be an outdoor venue. just wondering, (because I have never been) but what's so bad about the acc? it's just a generic arena right?
