  1. Well done guys, I'm sure it will be an awesome show. I think those of us trying ot get tickets for the Brixton gig have to wait until the 6th.
  2. Depends how close you want to get mate. I've seen the band a few times at Earls Court in London and arrived about half an hour before the doors opened. Each time I managed to get near the front because often people are more interested in getting pissed before the gig than they are about the support act.
  3. How can I be a true Coldplay fan? Answer: I think sitting outside the Camden Koko for five hours to get a ticket for the X&Y album launch gig answers that one. YOu have obviously been to westlife gigs all your life if your not bothered by this I'm more bothered by the fact I didnt get a ticket.
  4. So what your saying is my opinion doesnt count - plus my post was not aimed at anyone in particular - yours was. Listen, we're both big boys, I dont want to fall out with people within my first 10 posts, so i'll brush this one under the carpet and apologise to all those who disagree with me. I'll agree, standing is much, much better - i'll end it there.
  5. What a lovely, sarcastic welcome, do you greet all new members like this, or just those who dont agree with you. Just because I'm new to this board, doesnt mean I didnt post on the official forum when it existed and doesnt mean i'm new to the band. .
  6. I see your point mate - however, you bought the tickets knowing it would be seatsed. You would have a right to complain if you bought tickets to stand and found you were greeted by a load of seats. It's like buying a ticket to a football match - you know you have to sit. I've been to plenty of gigs to know the difference. I saw muse at Wembley Areans a few years ago and had to sit. I hated it, but I accepted it, simply because I chose to buy the ticket to sit after missing out on standing tickets. You cant please everyone, that's life my friend.
  7. Well done mate - well said. Some of us missed out on tickets completely and its disgusting that people are complaining about this. Nobody will sit down anyway so I dont know what people are moaning about. Count yourselves bloody lucky you got tickets and stop complaining.
  8. Well done mate, dont know how you did that. Why do these sites say sold out at 10.30am and then allow you to buy almost 12 hours later? Then again, I was trying to buy for London which always sells out in no time.
  9. As I've stated on another thread, I also missed out because I was out at work, got in at 10.30am and all London tickets were gone. I hate touts.
  10. I dont have tickets, but if I did I want the following (in no particular order) Fix You Warning Sign The Scientist Clocks Yellow Square One Politik Its hard to choose, there are so many classics, but the above are my favourite of the bunch.
  11. I doubt it mate, I used to post under a different name, and even then I didnt post that much. Listen, thanks for the offer but I can understand why you would have your reservations. New member just happens to join the forum when Coldplay tickets go on sale. I'd be thinking the same in your position. Like you said, you want them to go to a good home, and for someone who has just joined the forum, you cannot be certain if I am that person. Have a good one.
  12. I work for a group of magazines under the name My News Mag Ltd. We cover some small areas in Hertfordshire just outside Watford. If you look at these websites you'll see my work. http://www.myabbots.co.uk http://www.mycroxley.co.uk http://www.mygarston.co.uk
  13. You cant fella, but if i was a tout, I wouldnt be a very good one if I missed the sale this morning would I? I'm genuinely gutted to have missed out on the London gigs. But hey ho, that's the society we live in now - domianted by greed.
  14. I work as a journalist which means i'm often out and about. Just my luck I had an interview this morning when Coldplay tickets went on sale. For the first time in six years, I have not got tickets for a Coldplay tour gig. Thanks touts, you ruined my day.
  15. Hello fellow Coldplayers, I used to be a member of the official site forums a long time ago and stumbled across this very interesting site. Not going to claim i'm the biggest Coldpkay fan in the world because i'm sure there are plenty who claim that already. I am a massive fan though and hope to have some intereting discussions with you. Cheers Ron
