16-Jun-08: London - Brixton Academy
Right I'm off to the cricket. I hope all of you guys have a fantastic time tonight, especially my good friend Kumichi Baka. If someone could record the gig and upload it that would be superb. I was going to record it on my V+ Box (Virgin's alternative to Sky+) but for some reason you cannot record radio stations.:veryangry2: Have fun, and just remember how lucky you are. Ron.

Disappointed Brixton and Bbc losers
I have messaged kimchi baka that I will not be taking up his offer of a ticket. Its a generous offer and he could easilly get £50 for it, but i know his is bigger than that, so one of you lucky things are likely to end up with a freebee. Make sure you buy him a couple of beers at the venue as a thank you. Enjoy the gig!!

Disappointed Brixton and Bbc losers
Thanks fella, god how I wish i didnt have tickets for the cricket tonight. I'm going to see if the mate I'm meant to be going with can find someone else to go with because i dont want to stitch him up. I expect a reply from him around lunch time. I will post on here if i cannot make it.

Nice one. I had better wear a cap to try and disguise my face. I would hate to be caught on TV.

If a Spare Brixton Ticket should come up.... Please let kimchi baka know. He and i have been working out butts off to try and get tickes since we found out we didnt win. I've accepted defeat and will be going to Lords to watch some cricket instead. He, however, will be heading to Brixton in the hope he gets in. Before anyone asks, no, i dont know him personally. All those who are going, have fun and sing out loud and proud.

You may well be right mate. My mistake.

Have fun all those going. I've given up on any hope of getting a ticket. The amount that have appeared on various websites just makes me even more disappointed. Touts will always win and the genuine music fan will always be out of pocket.

Martin walks out of BBC interview
Not good to walk out of an interview, bad PR for the band. Dont forget, bands need the media as much as the media needs the bands. Poor show Chris, sort it out fella.

Havent you got tickets for Brixton mate? If so, I wouldnt bother with the BBC gig if there is no gurantee of entry. Its your call of course.

My ticket numbers are 249 and 250, yet they are not guaranteed ones???
-
18-June-2008: BBC Gig - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
No. You have to have the email saying congraulations to be guaranteed entry. If you received tickets through the post, you have a chance but they can refuse you entry.

18-June-2008: BBC Gig - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
My question is this: What is everyone who has got tickets like mine roll up early and get in, and then all those with guaranteed tickets leave it a bit and come along later? Do they let them in and let the place be over crowded, or do they turn them way. The system, im my book, is shambolic.

Yeah sorry Steph, i dont want to put a downer on it because i like you am looking forward to it very, very much. But, I along with others, do not want to rek into london if there is a chance we wont get in. That would be the ultimate slap in the face.

Yes but that was for the tickets emailed. How do we know its the same for those who have had tickets sent in the post. When i went to see a live recording of a bbc show there were people there who had guarnateed tickets because they had been refused entry to a previous show due to it being full. Because of this, i didnt get in because my tickets were not guranteed. My point is, how do we know that some tickets might be guranteed and others are not?
