  1. Ron Burgandy? He's an imposter! The tickets are on a sheet of A4 that you print yourself after Ticketmaster email them to you. There is a normal looking ticket at the top and another barcode in the bottom corner. They are both in the name of the winner and the 2nd ticket holder has to be accompanied by the named winner who has to provide ID. Easy.
  2. I entered this competition from the San Jose Marriott Hotel in Costa Rica while on holiday. So technically yes, I was outside the UK (and then some!) Luckily (or not) I live in Catford and can get the P4 nearly all the way to Brixton Academy - nice! Here are the golden tickets. Poor quality in case they get forged... For info, Ticketmaster told me this morning that all the tickets are barcode scanned at the venue as well as being ID checked. I'll be interested to see how the touts deal with this outside, the whole sheet of A4 is the ticket.
  3. I've got mine now thank God. Mine are GA8 69 and 70.
  4. Just a note to those that didn't win, it says on the email that you have 48 hours from 9am Tues to claim the tickets via Ticketmaster. So maybe unclaimed ones will be redrawn tomorrow. You never know. I am still waiting for Ticketmaster to email me the actual tickets. I am getting a bit worried even though the cheerful man on their helpdesk assures me that they are going to email them to me but they're having a few problems with their system! So close...
  5. GA means 'General Admittance' I believe. To a previous poster, I went to the Boosh too! Yes, it is seating for comedy downstairs but standing for concerts. GA2, GA3 etc is either different doors or just a way of numbering the tickets. I must have been to 15-20 gigs there over the years and it has never been seated.
  6. Every gig I've been to at Brixton (many) has always been standing only in the stalls. There are seats upstairs but not downstairs for concerts.
  7. My email was sent today at 12.27
  8. I won tickets too Hello all, I got my email this afternoon and have ordered them through ticketmaster (to the other person on here who won, have you received the actual ticket email yet? I haven't and I'm a bit nervous...) I however, will definitely be going! I got tickets to the Steve Lamacq gig at the forum a few years ago and it was the first time I ever saw them live. It was amazing and although I've been to several larger gigs since (Earls Court, Crystal Palace, Glastonbury) that smaller venue was the best. And the bonus is, it is only next Monday! I still can't wait.
