Thanks a lot for that, that is absolutely astonishing. It mostly matches up with the version I had, except one track of mine was 87% CDDA. I can't fathom it, why would anyone want the MPEG sound...

I figure by now someone has ahold of a copy, and if you're willing I'd quite like for you to do a little test for me. There are a couple of FLAC versions of the album hovering around, and it looks like the CD has been partially mastered in MPEG for some horrific reason. Some tracks come up as CDDA, some as MPEG. If possible, could someone who has the CD run Audiochecker using the source "Tracks from Audio CD" with the actual CD in the drive, and then pastebin me the log? I'm extremely curious, and I'm also very worried that the album has been mastered terribly. This song! It's all gorgeous rush of blood loveliness. I'm so happy this exists, between this and O it trumps a lot of stuff that they've done in the last 10 years for me. The drum at the 3:16 also sounds a lot like Snow Patrol with Somewhere A Clock is Ticking, which is really nice.

I do like how they have the guitar for emotion in asfos, that is my one main complaint about EDM. Still dont care for asfos

at least im not the only person withg the problem. also, my preorder viva la vida wasnt itunes+, and i never got the email :\

So i just downloaded the full album off iTunes, being assured it would be in iTunes +. So i download it, look at the quality, its 128, with full copy protection. This is the whole album, not just Viva La Vida (new edit) (which i know does have a problem) is anyone else having this problem? p.s. Im new, didnt know where to post this, and couldnt find anything else about it. :)
