  1. Congratulations, Angie! (Hold onto that globe for the long-term. A great keepsake! And it may approach 'Beatle-like' status in its collectables value one day!)
  2. Let's see: Pay for University tuition for 4 years? Or win 1 Coldplay item auction? What to do...what...to...do?
  3. Doubt that Coldplay themselves would be involved in any shenanigans --- but some bidder may be just bidding up items, knowing/expecting that they will be outbid eventually. Jay Leno on the Tonight Show used to show almost 'value-less' items that ended up being bid to over a million dollars. It often proved to just be a faux-bidder, who had no intention of actually following through with the purchase. I would really hate to think this might happen here, as Coldplay are doing a tremendous job of raising needed money for charity!
  4. Indeed --- may as well bid on the one-of-a-kind guitars and audio equipment instead!
  5. Top bids so far: (1) Chris Martin's first guitar (2) The globe
  6. (Q:) How does one clear the cache? (Is this the browser history?) Your help is appreciated! "3) Clear your cache! Basically, a new item is posted every 2 or 3 minutes. That gives you time to clear your cache. But since it erases your login, you have to re-login. This REALLY helps since your computer is faster at getting the item and it obviously worked today in my little experiement!"
  7. Given that this is the album cover's globe --- it may fetch the most!
  8. It is wonderful and generous of Coldplay to donate so many items, to be auctioned for their charity. Blessings to Coldplay!
  9. I considered using software to automate the F5 function (in a loop every 5 seconds), but you would still need to be at the computer watching for the BIN; and then as you tried to bid, the F5 function would keep going, unless you went into the software to turn it off! In other words---the manual F5 seems the only way to possibly win. Anyone have other ideas?!
  10. A generous and effective charity fund-raising efforts by the lads --- in the spirit of Christmas! Kudos to ColdPlay!
  11. In Completed Listings there is one (1) item so far: * Coldplay EODCS Lot 13: Signed Shiver lithograph (9of9) It sold as a Buy-it-now for 10 pounds.
  12. Wonderfully Memorable Concert Event! Hello one and all! I surprised my girlfriend with tickets to COLDPLAY (Ottawa, Scotiabank Place). We had a wondeful time! One of the best (top 3) concerts I have been to in my life-time. My girlfriend rated it her favourite! The band members were in top form; and their interaction with the crowd was quite original and memorable. Highlight: The 'blue-grass' style version of 'The Scientist', where the band relocated and played within the 100 Section, near the back. All in all, a blessed opportunity to see a great band in peak-form. Blessings to you all!
  13. Opening Act ? For Coldplay at Scotiabank Place Does anyone know whether there will be an opening 'act' ? ( If yes --- which artist is it projected to be ? ) Many thanks!
  14. Obtained two tickets via pre-sale (using Bestbuyrewardzone code). Was told that only shipping method available was, indeed, pick-up at the kiosk at Scotiabank. However, was also informed that tickets could be retrieved anytime (from the present moment until the night of the concert). That way, people can avoid waiting in a long line with other pre-sale ticket purchasers. YMMV --- Please call first, to confirm this information is actually correct, before driving all the way to Scotiabank to retrieve your pre-sale tickets. Hope this is helpful to someone!
